So I don't remember hearing much about this but does anyone remember the hale crater ruins on mars? Do you think its just video artifacts and wishful thinking? I'm honestly am at a loss for words on this one; if this is in fact images of mars what else could it be?!

They look like artifacts of the compression codec scheme to me. If you seperate the image into cmyk components it is bot present in all the resultant seperations.
The camera raw image is probably better but for storage and transmission it probably undergoes lossey compression wich generates artifacts. If the patterns were in the original camera scan I would expect some aspect of it to be in all color seperations and I do not see that. |

hey castle
I've been playing in maps all day, ha ha. I finally caught an airplane in google earth (finding life right here at home with gadgets is hard enough for me) . Have a good night. B.

I found this today..I went to the site and downloaded the image which is on page 29 now I think. I think its good for everyone to find information and make their own minds up . best advice is to .go with your gut reaction. I will put something in relation to this on my own posts soon.

Here is the link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qcR7VX-FwDY This pix is almost identical to one from JPL. If you download the pix and then do seperations into CMYK components some things are redily appearent. Only the Magenta component shows the rectangle patterns. The others show sand and rock. The supposed face becomes rock. If there were actual structure there it should be there in all color seperations. I believe this is a combination of compression codec artifacts and minirals responsive to certain colors. It is open to interpretation, but I do not see any compelling evidence of civilization. All I see is rock and sand. |

I clipped the area of interest from the hale crater. Then I seperated the clip to CMYK seperations. This renders four balck and white images that have the four color components that would be needed to print this image in a four color process print. Each image represents the ink density that would be required to reproduce the original color image. C is Cyan M is Magenta Y is Yellow K is Black If you do this for actual structures on earth satelite images the structures will have some components in all four colors. That only the Magenta seperation has the supposed structures indicates that they are in fact photo artifacts and do not actually exist as objects. Again, this is my analysis and it is open to your interpretation. |
