I got it once, Verdant. I think it's just the site having some glitches. Yesterday, the site got completely stuck for a moment, as Xander backed up the forum or something, I dunno. Anyway I don't think it will happen too often.

It's the first I have heard about it, what web browser (and version) are you using? Also, when do you actually get the error? What should happen is that you click 'Log Out' and all the colors go to gray (mimicking Windows) and a little box pops up asking you to confirm you want to log out, if you click yes, you get taken to a page telling you that you have successfully logged out. Let me know if any of that doesn't happen, or where you get an error during that process.

As a note, you don't have to log out each time you leave or anything. If you just close the web browser window (without clicking log out) you will be 'offline' on the forum and next time you come to the forum you won't have to log in again.

Hi Xander. I'm using AOL browser. When i log out of here I click "log out" all the colours go grey and a little window pops up asking me if I really want to Log out. When I click yes, I then get a page with a vBulletin message telling me that an error occurred while trying to Log out, and it says "to log out click here". When I do that, i then get the page telling me that Log out was successful and all cookies cleared.

Thanks for the note - I didn't realise it wasn't necessary to actually log out each time I leave the forum. smile.gif

(verdant)
I'm using AOL browser.

That says it all I'm afraid, the AOL program is notorious for being useless, I just tried it with AOL and I get the same error. There is a little that can be done about it other than using a regular Internet browser like Microsoft Internet Explorer. Obviously if you aren't logging out every time you leave now, it won't matter so much anyway smile.gif
