Hi everyone!

I hear that the mathematics of crop circles can be translated into music or melodies. Does anyone know where I can find/download some crop-circle music?

Thanks.

Not sure where to find the music, Engler, but it sounds right to me>>>crop circles express geometric theorems which can be expressed mathematically and math can be expressed using the musical scale.

Well spotted young man that's a stripe on your shoulder. Now as to musical crop circles ...yes they can be represented thus but if anyone presents you with a crop circle tune then I'm afraid they are barking mad. The most by way of notation that you will get from a single crop circle is maybe 12 notes. Now I know Mike Oldfied did tubular bells using only about 8 but they were repeated and changed and that was the exception to the rule. So if you hear 'Crop circle music' with more than 12 notes in it then you're being conned. Unless of course they say "Ah but this crop circle goes with that one which gives us 24 and then that one which gives us 36" Then verily I say unto thee you have passed into the twilight zone from whence there is no return. Just a life trapped in gibberish and strange dingly dangly noises!!

Ben

ps They make make a note but there is no staff or stave on which to lay them.

hmm interesting

ya know if you take a pan of water and put a radio up to it it will create ripples in the water from the vibration. The patterns i guess could resemble a crop pattern, but its a little more linked to quantum relation.... where the hell am i going with this ?? *cough

Anyways i havnt heard/seen anything about a relation to cropcircles and music. sry
