i live in port talbot, taibach.. in south wales.

last night i was walking out of the pub with my father at around 11:40PM, i saw something in the sky towards town, it was like in the middle of the houses, way out in the middle of the sky.. so i said to my dad straight away.. whats that i said? he said its probably a helicopter... but no, i knew different, it had an odd firey glow to it that was pulsating.. as if it were a craft on fire right in the middle of the sky, i only turned around for about 2-5 seconds and when i looked again it was gone, vanished from the middle of the sky.. that night i was really paranoid about what it was.

Tonight before i went out again i said to my dad that there was something strange about what i saw.. i knew it was nothing like a helicopter or any normal aircraft.. anyways.. moving on, i was in the pub for around 1 hour, while playing pool this guy came in and asked me if i'd seen the same thing he saw last night (because he'd had some drink too) and during that time he told me that he saw an oddly shaped orange glowing ball, he watched for 20 minutes and he said it broke up into 4-5 seperate balls and then came back together as one.. and finally it just shot off into the sky and it was gone.. Being the same time it is now but happend last night i was hoping to see if it would come again tonight so i could record it with my camcorder, unfortunatly i dont think ill see it again.. its the first time ive ever really seen something this odd, my friends think it might have been a laser.. but since when do lasers have the ability to project something in the middle of the sky and make the effect of it shooting off?.

sorry if i havent explained as well as i could have, i dont know if anyone believes me but thats your own opinion. I'm just glad someone else seen it and i knew i wasnt seeing things... i just really wish i had my camera on me at the time, i was going to get it aswell but it was too late.

Funny you should mention lasers. I've been to a few "raves" about 20 years ago, and at that time they featured a star trek theme whereby it looked like the actual ships were outlined in the night sky and points of light came together and seperated, but no burst was present... This maybe a new type of sky art. But who knows?

i still do not think that it was a laser, it looked too.. well, i cant explain.. but if it was a laser i think i would've known.

No laser could project what i saw, not in my opinion anyway because it looked too realistic.. plus there were no signs of a laser beam around the object or anything relating to one and there was too much depth to the object to have been a beam.

Even the guy who told me about it said it was definatly not an airplane or helicopter... he did not mention anything else, but still.. it would be nice to know.

if so many people spotted it im hoping that it will be in the paper perhaps since it is monday, who knows.. but ill let you know if anything comes up

I hate it when things like this happen, because unfortunatly it looks like something i will never know the truth about.

saint shields...intruiging story..however, you were walking back from the pub....the pub eh? Just kidding. Perhaps this could be part of the Cornish base-related phenomenononononon in another post? These are also best seen late evening / early morning and coincidentally after closing of pubs which is perfect if you think about it? Who on earth will believe someone on the way home from the pub all tanked up!! Perfect. Remember all the flap pf flying phenomenon around over major cities on millenium night?

What you have described are exactly these. Did you feel any static electricity or feel lemons? This last part is weird but probably due to their 'propulsion' system such as it is. I don't think they run on lemons of course, just to me when I experienced it I "felt" lemons / tangy-taste in my mouth. I was wondering / concerned possibly about chemtrails....

There are many apparently decomissioned bases in the west country yet have hives of activity late at night / early morning. The UK government doesn't really have the space to fly around so most of it is done underground or the outer hebrides and strange stuff is always ALWAYS seen round pub closing time - perfect for the cops to dismiss it, but yet do their job and report it..but not follow up!

for a start i was not drunk, i knew what i saw.. i am a very observant person, even if i am drunk i remember everything as it happend before and after i wake up.

Anyway, as a person i dont like getting the facts wrong about these things.. people probably just pass it off as being something normal in the sky

ill be watching the skies all the time now, and take my camera with me everywhere until i find evidence.. then no one can tell me i seen something which was a normal everyday aircraft.
