my life, my story, my words unfold
to only i know the stories and told

of mysteries, hidden in the heart
to people and places that took the part

the wonders, the pain, the joy, and the fun
my burning desire, the song not sung

my story, i wrote, with pain and pride
of when i was proud and held my head high

the pain, the drama, the tears i have cried
the anger, the stress, the times that i tried

my life, my story, my words unfold
not even i know what the future holds

I'll look to the written, then to the pen,
and wonder what is hidden behind the bend
