Is it true some of you cry just for the hell of it? If so, do you have any idea how much that fucks with your husband/boyfriend's mind?

Actually, this probably doesn't belong here... If one of you mods would be so kind as to move it to the General Discussion forum that would be great. And don't forget to answer my question.

I think it's perfect here... Your orginal choice of forum is excellent.... It is a problem in your mind is it not from reading the description you give?

Such eloquence... I'm impressed...

Well, this part of the forum is for being sad or unhappy or venting, and what I asked was more or less just a question I want answered because I want to know if that's something most women do or just a few...

And your sarcasm is noted. That was unneccessary, don't you think?

I dont cry just for the hell of it. I may have a cry for no apparent reason but there is always a reason behind it. Maybe im stressed or feeling sad and I may have a cry to release that feeling. It doesnt happen often though. This would happen when im alone though, but im sure if my partner lived with me it would worry him to see me cry when he cant understand why.

Yeah, men cry, but not for no reason... Some people say it's release and it makes them feel better, but I don't see how that can be... Crying makes a person feel drained, worn out, and crappy.

You're from England though, aren't you? English women are tougher than half of the west coast's male population...

I've never cried because of physical pain... Since I was like 4 or 5, that is.

I don't understand the question...
I think the answer is yes...but I'm not sure...once a month at least I'm faced with the options of crying or becoming SuperBitch...
Would men prefer the latter to the former?

Hmmm..maybe I should go a little more in depth...
Ok...you know how every day there are little things that piss you off or make you sad?
Well, you just keep on keepin' on and shrug them off, right?
This works fairly well most of the time....
Ahhh....but along comes Aunt Estrogen...she has this weird way of pulling all that crap right out of your subconscious and shoving it in your face...you close your eyes and it's still there...
So, you're not really crying for no reason, exactly...it's maybe a lot of reasons...
Does that make sense?

Yeah. Just make sure you let your husband know, otherwise he'll be super worried and think it's his fault.

You haven't experienced a lot of pain then.

Although I haven't cried since I was a baby either, unless you count getting hit in the nose and then you can't help it cause your eyes will just water.

I stepped on a nail once. I've also been hit in the nose... Eyes watering doesn't really count as crying...

Yeah... Weird thing is that it didn't bleed. And my parents never took me in to get a tetanus shot. Wasn't a rusty nail, though...
