The supposed story of the Dropa Stones, started when in January 1938 when a chinese archeologist named, Chu pu tei found a cave which contained graves that had pictures on the wall of beings with elongated heads and images of planets and the sun and moon, which were dated back thousand of years before.
Apparently when the graves were opened, beings that were only about a metre tall were found and these bodies had large long heads.
Disks , akin to records or CD's For the younger generation on the forum were found to contain the remains of beings little more than a metre tall, with abnormally large skulls. The archaeologists also found a stone disk a little over 300 mm in diameter, with a hole in the centre. A groove on the surface of the disk spiralled outwards from the centre hole to the rim and back, forming a double spiral. Another 716 disks were found in the caves by other investigations.

One professor (Tsum Um Nui from Beijing) found that the grooves were actually a line of characters written in an unknown language. In 1962, he announced that he had managed to translate the disks. According to his translation, an alien spacecraft crashed in the Bayan Har Shan region twelve thousand years ago. The occupants, aliens called Dropa or Dzopa, could not repair their craft and tried to adapt to conditions on Earth. Meanwhile, the local Ham (or Kam or Kham, depending on the race) tribesmen hunted down and killed most of them. As the Ham were short people themselves,and it isn't clear whether the skeletons found in the caves were those of the Dropa/Dzopa or of Ham tribesmen. Supposedly, the aliens had intermarried with the locals, making the origins of the skeletons more difficult.

So basically they were recordings made in rock, but Worse, none of the names given in the accounts belongs to anyone who can be shown to have been involved archaeologically or linguistically. Tsum Um Nui does not even appear to be a genuine Chinese name! The photos attributed to the otherwise unknown discs appear to be genuine, but they merely show stone disks with a hole in the centre and double spirals that are known in Chinese archaeology as part of ancient snake cults. One of the photographs of an alleged disk shows it propped on a chair, clearly with a diameter much larger than the 300 mm claimed by the story.

Did anyone see this the other night? It was on the History Channel on Monday I think. If you haven't, have you at least heard of the Dropa stones?

Ive heard of this story infact Ive posted something on this topic quite a while ago. apperently it tells of humans and aliens interbreeding :alien: :blush2:

Hi all, I have more than an interest in these Dropa stones as I am currently researching and writing a book based on Alien interaction with man over thousands of years, the book is essentially Science fiction however all the facts are based on genuine facts of a historic nature, inclding the discovery of the Dropa stones. To Find the Dropa stones would not only be a major re-discovery for mankind but also bring credibility to my book, even if they were proved to be none extra terestrial the fact that they are perfectly round with a hole exactly in the center dating back to beyond the mainstream use of the wheel in itself would in my beliefe prove 'outside' influeneces in technology advances.
I have contacted many universities around the globe that at some point have cliamed to at least examine the stones and also had a leak from Bejine university from a collegue teaching English history, cliaming she has seen 2 of these stones, one in pieces but the other intact, at this location, something that the university seem to know nothing of!!
If these stones are simply ancient 'parayer' devices or symbols to the great dragon then why are they being kept well and truely out of the public gaze. It kind of adds more mystery to it don't you think!!

This is another of those phenomena that have 'passed me by' somehow. Oh more research...just what I needed lol....will be back soon.....

where are the stones now? can they be looked at and studied with microscopes? If they were truely found in 1938 then it would have been difficult to hoax something like this. I mean to cut microscopic characters into stones would have been slightly difficult to do with tools back in the 1930s. Perhaps the technology existed or some scientist had learned how to do so but the tools would have had to have been microns in size to etch into the stones.

I dont see the writtings so as far as I know they dont even exists.

Ive never heard of these before, but they do seem to have a weird story behind them. What really gets me is that the tribe named "dropa" today seems like they could be similar to aliens. Its really strange that they would be so uncharacteristic of where they live.

the dropas crash landed on a mountain and then settled on earth. they were first feared and killed by natives but this soon passed and natives began to look up to them.

the stone discs were engraved and emitted a hum when used on a stylus and turntable, also the engravings are conductive somehow.

they were finaly decoded and tell of the history of the dropas

theres plenty of info on the web about them, although was is information and disimformation is always hard to tell.

also skeletons of humanoids were found with the stones

i have seen many photographs which claim to be dropa stones, oddly the stones vary in design dramatically.

Do you think the messages on the website arent true, and that they were changed by the government. What if the actual message was much more revealing about their lives. And what if they found a some of the people actually still down in the mountains. That would be a lot better. hahah

i think the idea is that the people there now asre a cross between the dropas and the natives.

i think they were like pigmy people.
