The best starwars have already been made, and they had already been made before any "sith" came into the picture.

Heh, I have'nt even seen episode 2 yet.

Yep...I wonder how long before SW3 is released to DVD so I can complete my collection. I grew up in the era of the first Star Wars movie and I've been a fanatic ever since :lightsabr

George Lucas is going to have his hands full redeeming himself for Episodes 1 and 2. I almost felt violated the way he pilaged the childhoods of an entire generation by creating such utter utter dross in 1 and 2. Hopefully he will turn much darker in ROTS and give the fans a decent ending to a piss-poor trilogy of movies so far.

Episode 2 wasn't that bad. There was some cringeworthy scripting and bad acting but overall it was a load better than episode 1.

Im sorry but i disagree they were'nt that bad.
I think George Lucas has created first class
Star Wars movies all the way threw for me
not one of his films has dissapointed me the
effects and battle scenes in episodes 1 and 2
were superb and so were the effects in episodes
4,5,6 and episode 3 is going to be just as good.

That's just it though. It became all about special effects. No substance. Just like the Batman phenomenon. The first two start out dark and it's supported by great actors. After Batman Returns it all turns to sh!t. It got all light and fuzzy........Mr.Freeze.......need I say more.....

I do like the first one's made better but 1 and 2 are not complete and utter crap.
like shadout was saying. It put's more history into the story it tells us about the wipe out of the jedi and how anakin became Darth Vader.

It puts more history into it because it has to, It's a prequel, it was the whole point of these being made. They could have done it a lot better is all I'm saying.

Well, I dont like seeing big stars (ie. Samual Jackson) in movies like this (I realise Ford was in it, but he wasnt as big back then). Also, there are simply some bad actors working on these pictures that should not have had anything to do with these films.

I would find some decent unknown talent, test them out, and pick the best. For a movie like this, they should have paid the money to find out who would do best in certain roles. Granted, they may of done this, if so, they failed.
