After I got out of High School and was going to College part time. I was a Customs Agent at Baltimore Washington Airport.

Now for those who don't know about Customs here in the USA since many countries differ. We were basically Police limited to the Airport. We did Patrols, Parcel, people and bag searches, some Agents were K-9 operators, Chemical swabs for explosive, Prisoner transport, drug seizure's and also shake downs of the small jail cells in the basement of the airport. We were also armed at all times.

Well, one morning I was working and I had to go to the C Pier due to an object looking like a pipe bomb was thought to be seen in one of the X-ray machines. It turned out it wasnt a bomb, thank goodness!

While I was there I was radioed to stay at that location because I had to search 10 boxes that were coming through by hand. I also had to remover the FBI seals on the boxes and replace them with US Customs seals after the search so long as there weren't any contraband in them.

The evidence was being shipped from CA o Washington, DC for a Congressional meeting about cults.

The reason they couldn't just go through the X-ray is because it was boxes of papers and picture which is very dense and looks like a black blob on an x-ray.

As I started to open the boxes I saw that each folder and basically everything else was labeled "Heavens Gate" (do a search if you don't know who they were) and believe me. The crime scene pictures were creepy!

I also was able to read some of the reports. The leader was one crazy man. Some of the men in the groups were castrated!

I did nothing illegal mind you. I just thought it was an interesting thing to share with you guys.

Stripped searched? Was it US Customs? Were you really stripped or just had to remove some items of clothing?

My dad has so much lead from bullets in him, that if he were to travel or have to go through a metal detector, he would be strip searched.

He laughs as he tries to convince the operator that the metal is in 5 different places.

All he needs is a Dr's note to bring with him saying wheres the metal and he wont get hassled.
