I've debated posting this request for awhile now...it is strange to ask and I'm afraid that in doing so, I may have to go deeper into my spiritual beliefs than I wanted to share in this forum..I hope that you will either do it or not do it and not demand too many explanations from me...lol...silly I know...eh ok here goes...

Its very simple really and will take only as much of your time as you want it to...it doesnt cost anything...it doesnt require you to believe in anything...in fact, it would be best if you put your own beliefs aside for the moment...this doesnt require belief ok?

Take a candle and as you light the candle think about all the victims of child sexual abuse...the ones gone and the ones present...the ones still in their tormenter's grasp and the ones tormented by the memories left behind...think about the crimes (this is not an easy task) but do not think about the abusers...continue to think about it until you begin to feel it...as the intensity of the emotions grow begin to empty your mind of the thoughts surrounding it until you are no longer thinking but only feeling...when your mind is still and all thought is gone...you may feel sick...you may cry...your spirit or self will ache...hold this until you are ready to let it go and then when ready take a deep breath and blow the candle out.

Do this sometime today. That is all. Thanks.

2-2 That was a lovely way to light a candle for all the little prayers to be answered, and yes it felt even better lighting it for the kids you mentioned, I do hope it helps heals the scars and eases the memories so the victims can move on with the rest of they're lives....Lol....I've gone feeling all emotional all of a sudden.

Lovely thought 2-2 as all children need protecting and the right to live a normal life smile.gif

I would probably go into an uncontrollable fit of rage, because people who do that shit make my blood boil.

One of my girlfriend's friends was raped when she was 13. I went looking for the bastard, but never found him, fortunately for him. Some 23 year old guy from North Philly (Our ghetto). I was carrying a real sharp knife, even though the guy was supposedly carrying around a gun, some lighter fluid, and my butane lighter. I probably would've stabbed the guy if I saw him. then, I would've lit him on fire, and laughed as he burnt.

People who rape women or young kids deserve to be castrated. Death is too easy for them. I hate those people so much.

My deepest sorrow goes out to the victims and their familys. I'm sorry I won't do it, because I don't want to lose my temper, but could one of you do one for my girlfriend's friend? It would really be appreciated.

I know AJ...and there isnt any easy way to deal with the hate...that is why I said 'do not think of the abusers' because then it is too easy to be filled with the hate...but its ok if you feel that you cant because the hate would overwhelm you.

Of course, she is included AJ. smile.gif

My family has a long history of sexual abuse. My grandfather was sodomized by his uncles he then started molesting my mother when she was 2. My grandmother was raped at 7 by a friend of the family. It not only taints and ruins lives the effect can still be felt for generations in one family. So much dysfunction comes out of it. I just assume the people who do this either never had a soul or lose it by very bad behavior.

Words can not express, Sblackerby...the intent of this request was two-fold...the first, I've but alluded to but the second I will tell you now...empowerment. We struggle to understand...to deal with the inevitable rage..of which AJ spoke...and to act on the behalf of those innocent children who suffer the most unspeakable actions of evil intentions..but the sheer amount of victims, the frequent nature of the crime and the incomprehensiblity of the nature of the crime...leads one to feelings of helpless and, ultimately, resignation...but here, you have done something...and it matters not if you believe it will have any effect overall...it has an effect on you...you have done something...you have gained some power of a powerless situation.

FA...

The great secret is this: it is not enough to have intuitions; we must act on them; we must live them.
