A good friend of mine sent me this link via email and I just had to share it with you,
It shows a 44' x 35' rectangle of downed wheat with a Herringbone "Weave" and is believed to be the first ever report of this type. Ohio Formation Full story |

It looks like Rain or wind Damage to me, or an absoloutly terrible fake. In the right hand corner there is a whole clump of wheat standing up! I found some funny shapes in the fields near my house, they were just completely random. It turned out to be wind damage. |

I get the feeling of fake too, but if it is fake how do they get the Herring bone shape so perfect...???
I find the North Carolina crops more interesting A four-circle formation is found in 6’-7’ tall hay the morning after more than a dozen witnesses- including the landowners - observe a “blinding light” lasting for several seconds around 11:15 PM on the 21st. Witnesses from a 10 mile radius around the formation reported seeing the light, and animals in all those locations were also reported to have been extremely agitated – the landowners’ dog located at the time in a basement “tried to rip the door off”. No tracks were found leading into the isolated, gated field. Photo taken by the landowners upon arrival at the formation the first morning of discovery showing the beginning of the unusual double s-shaped swirl in the main circle: I have often thought that some crop circles could be caused by natural meteorology events, ie:- a form of electrical charged plasma, ball lightening, magnetic anomalies, and this seems to fit the pattern as there seems to be an electrical type discharge at the time...."witnesses- including the landowners - observe a “blinding light” lasting for several seconds around 11:15 PM on the 21st. Witnesses from a 10 mile radius around the formation reported seeing the light" also it was reported that both plants and soil in the smaller circles centers where burnt and the smell of an extinguished camp fire filled the air.....IMHO this is a real crop circle without the help of ET or humans.

Okay i see why you think its a fake. I am no exspert on crops just thought it was very unusual as crops usually are. Its really hard sometimes to figure out the fakes from the genuine crops.

When you say fake I assume you mean Man Made, as most are man made this one probably is aswell, a crop circle can be defined "genuine", but when we call it genuine it doesnt mean it is made by aliens or anything like that because this has never been proved. A Genuine circle is a cricle that lacks any sign of human involvment and gives an eery feel or is unexplainable.
This crop circle is interesting as it doesnt form a certain design, however the weave looks to be quite intricate, but you cannot see from the pictures whether the stems are broken and there arent any radioactivity results. It seems a little wierd, but its a shame the farmer harvested the field before taking the photos! |

It seems a little wierd, but its a shame the farmer harvested the field before taking the photos! I agree it is an unusual design, and it is a pity that the farmer cut the crop before more tests where done, but even farmers have to make a living, and I suppose they look at circles as a form of vandalism.

It's kind of small. Someone was bored, that's for sure.
But it's the way they layed down the wheat that is interesting. I mean Fields are cut down in square patterns so why would anyone notice? This is one to observe close up. It doesnt look to be more the 20x20 feet wide. More of the size of an average patio deck then a Crop Circle/Square or whatever. |

Compared with what I've seen with my own eyes this looks rather set up, notice how they only show 3 sides of the rectangle? Also notice how wide it is, a combine could get in there.
In my eyes its man made |

Lol - I didn't even notice the wheat that was standing up at first. Looks like the people who made it got a little too excited to take a picture before they finished it off. Then again, you never know. |
