I don't know what to do. I swept my system with 7 different programs, manually remove a ton of registry entries, scanned, quarintined, innoculized...

And I stil am getting these popups once every 60 seconds! AAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!

I've used these programs both in safe mode and regular mode:

EWIDOsecurity
Norton Internet Security/Antivirus
Spybot
Ad-Aware SE
Bazooka Pro
Hijack This!

and a few more...

Any suggestions would be helpful...

how about CCWShredder? smile.gif

That sounds pretty bad, Ad-aware usually gets it straight away.

If is still unsuccesful, start your PC in Safe mode (so NO programs load).
Make sure Ad-aware has a shortcut on your desktop.
Then do a full scan.

Thanks folks!

I actually got rid of it by doing the following...

restarted to safe mode
ran Shredder
ran Xcleaner
ran Webroot Spyware
ran Stinger

took forever but it worked so far!

Thanks for the advice!

You do know that a new version of Suse Linux is due out at the end of this month.

Suse will out class Windows by miles. I don't even think Windows Vista will be as good.

I had spyware like this a while back. It was called spyfalcon. I had to delete it from the registry.

RELATED QUESTION.

Microsoft is offering a new BETA to mega monitor, protect, fix one's computer. But things like Norton, and other such programs have to be REMOVED . . . what do you geek types think of that MS software? Is it worth it?
