This article dates back to January, but I don't recall ever seeing this posted on here before and wanted to share. I apologize if it's already been discussed.

This was one that made me wonder for sure. NASA said it was a rock and it could be. But why is the rock such a different color from the rest of them. And it should be easy to prove, beings move rocks don't. A follow up pix of the same area should reveal.

So I still wonder about it. Where is another pix of the same area?

It was posted on here shortly after the picture made the news.
They said that the object in question was less than a foot high. Size factor, also works against the Martian humanoid idea.

thats pretty good but it is probably just a rock and that is coming from someone who so badly wants to believe in alien life.

True true, but I found the shape of it quite interesting... power of suggestion can always twist things, but doesn't it look very un-rock like?

There are a number of things. I saw one picture of a metallic vent cover. It had a diameter of about a foot and half. It was a perfect square. Straight bent grooves that gave it a peek in the middle to keep rain and dust out. Much like what you would find in larger metal sheets that had been bent to fit something. I would have posted it but I could not get permission. After all it was a NASA photo.

Anyways, there are lots of interesting things on Mars. But I have never heard anything to the effect that we will find live aliens walking around.

i feel that maybe mars once had a civilsation..but a war between earth and mars, destroyed mars' fragile atmosphere..or it became inhospitable due to other events.

According to my opinion we come from Mars.

The earthlings lived ago hundreds of thousand of years on the red planet , only that the exploitation of the resources and the incapability to get along he has brought the planet on the edge of the collapse.

Then some decided to emigrate and to colonize the earth , that was still territory virgin.

They went to colonize earth, eh? Looks like that contradicts science. Humans evolved from monkies... Our technology back then was nothing. ETC.

SD....I remember this as well.....it looks a great deal like a natural formation......this one maybe a different color as it is obviously more resistant to erosion than the surrounding rocks.....I bet if they went back there now it would be in the same place...... wavey.gif

It's a fecking rock if you ask me.

It's just the shaded side of the rock, you can see the rock continue to the right.

APES!!! Alitalia..we evolved from apes, not monkeys.Monkeys have tails. But the Missing link, that evolutionary gap has not been completed. We are still hunting for the final piece of our puzzle..until then we cannot be 100% sure where we come from or what we evolved from. But its a good guess that we evolved from apes,it almost too obvious though.
