it wouldnt suprise me one bit. With the fact we only ever see one side of the moon, that leaves the other side in the control of nasa, and the U.S. I say control as in they have the power to only let us see what they want us to.

Lets assume for a moment that what you say is true do you think there is anyway we could defeat a civilization obviously far more advanced then we are?

of course it would be a bad idea, if your talking about war. We have no way of attacking them which would put us on total defense.

But to actually build a base without anyone knowing? That would take a lot of shuttle missions and would take a long time, how would no one notice?

Easy, they would simply disguise it as satellite missions (meaning tell the people you are building complex satellites in space)

isn't it possible, that maybe they want the moon for some strategic reason when fighting other countries...such as to impliment reagan's "star wars" program and shoot down nuclear warheads...(who knows maybe they want to drill it for oil! lol) but that they just leaked out this enemy alien conspiracy on purpose to throw eveyone off?

I think you hit it. They're going to make us think that aliens are hostile and use them as a threat when really they're putting weapons in space to drop on other countries.

Don't you think it would be easier for a government to convince people that another country,terrorist group or whatever on Earth is a threat, rather than trying to convince people that aliens are real and that theyre a threat?

That's the first thing i thought of aswell. The aliens are being used as an excuse for building a war-base on the moon.

He said that, if you control the moon, you control the earth. You can shoot rockets at any given nation on earth, and they won't notice it before it's too late.
