I had just woken up that morning and looked up at my ceiling to see what looked like a circular clump of wriggling fuzz about a foot in diameter crawling on the ceiling. It was gray in color. The moment I saw it, it started coming towards me (while still clinging to the ceiling). It got to within a foot of my bed and disappeared. The entire event lasted around 12 seconds.

Honestly I don't know if it was alive or what it was, but it was certainly paranormal and IMO, extraterrestrial in nature. Maybe it was an artifact of ET technology that was spying on me. In any case this thing was unlike anything I've ever witnessed in my life.



I have seen other strange things within my house, but nothing that had form.

The two other times were both big flash-bulb like flashes that apparently came out of nowhere. The first giant flash I saw was in November 2004 as I was walking upstairs in my house at night. Almost as I turned to go to the second flight of stairs, an extremely brief but very bright flash happened in the hallway above. I didn't see the flash directly, but I saw the light flooding the area in front of me. Nobody was upstairs at the time so I went downstairs and grabbed a baseball bat thinking it might have been a burglar. Nothing else happened. There were no sounds involved with this event.

The other time a flash happened like this was September 2006 (I think). I was on the computer I'm sitting at now and just a few feet above my left side a large flash-bulb like white flash came and went. I have no idea what could have made a spontaneous large flash like that out of nothing.

I have perfect vision. I don't drink, I don't smoke. I've never had hallucinations in my life. For the most part my life has been 99.999% mundane.

You know, i'm not doubting your honesty, nor the reality of your experience, but i find it striking that 99% of this kind of alien/paranormal experiences happen just after people wake up. I mean by that that i think those experiences could have something to do with the state between sleep and awakening. A kind of waking up and still dreaming perhaps?

The only times I felt fear were the light flashes in the house. Especially the one that happened next to me. I thought any moment something else was going to happen, but nothing else did.

The circular mass that crawled towards me was just so strange and inhuman that I didn't have a fear sensation rather than simply being bewildered as to what it could possibly be.

Its still the clearest recent memory I have. Even events that happened today aren't as clear to me as the shocking moment I saw that thing on my ceiling. I'm not going to postulate what I saw as being a dream or not other than this statement.

A lot of ppl in Tupelo MS (kids at my school anyways) spoke of seeing a creature or robot like creature crawling on the ceiling with it coming towards them then disappering. I thought they were just mild nightmares (I even forgot about them) because they even said they couldn't tell if they were awake or sleeping and each dream was different like some could even see some details of it and some said it looked like a smokey mass with spider legs. And I have never seen that case over the internet until you said it so there must be some truth about these alienish-shadow-things after all.

Happened on March 14th at 11pm.

This time I was downstairs laying on a couch after having dozed off for about fifteen minutes. I opened my eyes and as I looked at the stairway in the house I saw something quite similar to the blob I had seen on December 25th. I was overcome with fear for a second and as I watched the thing it again disappeared. I stayed up for several hours afterwards.

This time what I saw was not entirely the same as the original "thing". It appeared mostly translucent like glass and was either hugging the wall or was hovering in the middle of the starway. This time it appeared to look sort of like electrical arcs or sparks that were boiling like water. Again it was only about a foot in diameter but this time the thing looked more oval in shape. It didn't move towards me like the previous object did, but did fade from view after about four seconds similarly to the previous object.

This sounds like a shapeshifter you are seeing.What ever it is I seen something similar except it wasn't a blob it was just a mass of concetrated blue electricity that appears at radom times.It is weird whatever is going on.

frith, I am not being sarcastic here, but I would see a doctor. Not on account of the blob, but over the light flashes. There is the chance that this could be related to a mini stroke.

The mind will 'create' a noise or light very briefly in response to the electrical discharge that often accompanies such a thing.

And too, it would rule that out as an explaination if there is no sign of a stroke, which I hope you have not had. Aliens or even ghosts are preferable to a stroke. But it is best to be sure.

I don't count either of the light flash events as originating from my brain or optic nerves. As I typed in the first post, the first flash event happened primarily outside the field of my vision in the hallway upstairs. Light was flooding out of the hallway, and I was not viewing it directly in any way. I was seeing the flash reflecting off the wall before the hallway started.

The second light flash that happened near me obviously wasn't so far out of my field of vision, but it was directional and appeared as if it was within a space occupying some measure from myself. I wasn't blinded in any way.

I'm not going to count either incident as a sign to go see a doctor and spend money I don't have chasing a condition I'm 99.999% certain I don't have. I added those events to flesh out my report on the strange mass on my ceiling.

Entity: Something that has a real existence

What kind of entity is it? Why do you think it manifests as flashes of light and squirmy things on the ceiling?
What kind of fear is associated with these events? That is: Do you feel powerless in regards to preventing these events from happening?
What ‘feelings’ go through your head before and after these things happen to you? Relief, anger, elation etc?
Are you under the age of 25?

You grabbed a bat when a flash of light appeared, yet you stayed in bed, “bewildered“, when the squirmy things were coming toward you. Bewilderment is like being stunned (immobile, shocked) which can be likened to a state of fear. Do you think there is anything to fear from these experiences? Or do you feel special because of them? ~rore

frith, I'm not assuming that you have a problem either. But you will admit that it could be a symptom of what I mentioned. I am glad that you expounded on your original phrasing, and from the new information, I agree that it does not sound consistent with what I first thought might be a possiblity.

However, there will be many who will think that way, and only a doctor's opinion that you have not had such an occurence would put that idea to rest. I am so well aware of the reluctence to spend money for such things. I am on a 'fixed income', as it is called. Mainly it's fixed so damn low I can't afford to do anything.

Don't think I was tryingto poke holes in what you related. I assure you I was not. I am very interested in these events. I have had some strange things happen that are similar. (Mine are auditory, and happen at the oddest times. I have seen a doctor, and he ruled out any medical problems, though he recommended a shrink. I have not followed up on his advice, as I enjoy my mind just like it is and don't want someone who is practicing medicine to practice on me.)

I do not think paranormal has anything to do with extraterrestrials. ETs by their very definition are a scientific thing, whereas anything paranormal is pretty much the opposite of that.

I think you're quite wrong about that. Paranormal is not only a ghost thing. I believe that evolution brings the soul subject as well. There's still plenty of things that we cannot explain or understand. I think they are conected.

Whatever it is (like everything else) we will find the answers in time.

Thats very intresting. I have 2 similar experiences. The first was 1998 in Brisbane Australia, my girlfriend at the time and myself witnessed swirling dull lights (same effect as water swirling down a plug hole) hovering on the ceiling for about 40 seconds.
The other experience was in Ireland in 2002 staying at a hostel. I woke up and saw hovering on the ceiling above me, swirling geometrical shapes almost Mayan in descent. That lasted about 2 minutes then disappeared.

This is my opinion (but some will undoubtedly think it crazy): I believe that some of these reports like this or similar,are energy beings. Visitors from who knows where, that do not have physical bodies. Either evolved beyond them or temporarily leave them(aliens astrally projecting).
