I thought I'd start of discussion in this forum with a fairly generic off topic thread.

My favorite cars are:

'59 Cadillac Convertible
'65 Pontiac GTO
'95 Honda NSX
'00 Nissan R34 Skyline GT-R V-Spec

I used to really adore European supercars but, amazing as they are I still prefer classic muscle cars and modern imports.

The good thing about German cars like Bimmers is that everything is solid, nothing rattles and nothing breaks.

The problem with using NOS is that it wrecks your engine but where would street racing be without it?

On a BBC TV show called Top Gear they got a group of engineers from Lotus to spend over $100,000 modifying a Lada, it was pretty mean when they'd finished with it, it even looked pretty cool.

The 1929 Duesenberg Model 'J', perhaps the most glamorous car ever built, designed to be coveted and sought after by Hollywood stars, a flashy, gloriously impractical confection of chrome, curve, and power.

The Duesenberg (did you know that the car automatically oiled it's chassis every 75 miles?) and the Monaro are both decent cars but I'd like to add a couple more to my list:

'65 Ford Mustang
'78 Ford Mustang King Cobra
'58 Chevrolet Impala
'61 Chevrolet Corvette (in red and white of course)
'81 Chevrolet Camaro Z-28
'71 Dodge Charger

I'm a big fan of classic American muscle cars, hence most of my favorites are from the 60s. I also love chunky American vans and pickups from the 80s.

The Cuda rules, probably my favorite Plymouth, along with the '65 Fury Stationwagon. The Challenger rules also...blue paint white leather interior...very nice but still not a Charger smile.gif The '63 was a nice Corvette but I don't think I'll ever figure which 'Vette is my favorite, right now I'm thinking the '61 so long as it's red and white.
