...or to those who remember me.. I've just been lurking but i've been able to get on a little more often, so I may start posting again. Hope y'all are having a grand time, and are getting ready for Christmas! I've been SO busy with my baby... only he's a monster now. tongue.gif , working, and school that I hardly have time for myself anymore. I'm studying to be an RN. Yay.

I went to the doc Tuesday because I'd been getting bad dizzy spells, especially when lying down, but sometimes I would wake up and get real dizzy... everything spins and I can't see straight.

Anyhow, I have to go back in two weeks. Because of my blood pressure, also. heh, it's usually low but Tuesday it was 90/60 ! ! And that was in the afternoon after chasing the baby around, drinking caffeine, etc.

But he's worried about the dizziness that's getting more and more frequent and apparently that ringing in my ears and the deal where i can hardly hear for a short minute or two like if there was water in my ear... has him concerned too. I've had migraines since I was about 7, too.. so.. he said I might need an MRI... And apparently he did some thing where I follow his finger with just my eyes, and my eyes move a little more than they should. weird.

So anywho, I had my MRI on Wednesday and I'm sitting around waiting for the results... they should call today but I'm about to call them if they don't call by say... 3:30. I'm impatient, hehe. It's 3:00 now.

But what he thinks it is (he said it could be a small tumor, but not likely) is something to do with my ears. Great.

But for right now, it's just vertigo. So along being on Midrin for my migraines, he put me on 5 mg. of Diazepam twiBut I'm about to be put on Topamax,... a medication used to treat seizures, to see if it helps get rid of my headaches. Topamax is the one without the hair loss and weight gain side effects.

So anyhow that's what's been goin on with me, aside from the long divorce process. Which really sucks when you still care about someone, but when you want to change for the better, and they dont... it's time to say have a nice life... by yourself!

Welcome back.
Did your doctor check to see if the tube( i don't remember the name of it)that connects your ear to your breathing passage, is clear.
I recall back around 1993 or so, when I would get dizzy spells.
My doc told me to plug my nose and blow until I heard crackling or poping in my ear. After doing this on a daily basis for a time, the dizzy spells never returned.

Hiya Cat... IwaspokedbyMulder... biggrin.gif

Always nice to hear your updates about what's happening in your life... I just realised this, but did you know that you should really be sporting the title here of Forum Elder and not the 6 Star Member as it shows coz you were a Mod here once...

Hmmm might just go and arrange that so then you can really start to feel real old and all that... maybe go and buy yourself one of them walking sticks for Chrissy you think... Whatcha reckon?
