Guess which quarter this comes from? You guessed it: Muslims.

http://www.iht.com/articles/ap/2008/04/01/...Free-Speech.php

The article was published April 1st, so I had to check the Human Rights Council's website myself to make sure it was true. Sure enough, it is the nineteenth resolution adopted at the organizations recent seventh assembly.

Go here:

http://www2.ohchr.org/english/bodies/hrcou...ssion/index.htm

And download the first draft document containing resolutions. It is number 19, and is quite difficult to find because there are no page numbers listed in the contents.

This comes after Ban Ki Moon himself took the effort to express support for the Dutch government's attempts to block the viewing of the recent anti-Islamic film Fitna (even though he has probably never seen it himself). Fitna is merely a collage of excerpts of Islamists talking themselves in relation to several issues and acts of Islamic terrorism all interspersed with surae and ahadith from Islam's own texts. You can find a thousand such videos about Christianity on YouTube and they are completely without controversy. Anyone may denounce anything critical of Islam as "hate speech" without any rational supporting argument. It seems that the only reason need be that it is often accurate.

The resolution demonstrates what a joke the UN really is. It is nothing but a talking shop, and those who most enthusiastically participate are completely opposed to the claimed principles under which it was founded. You will notice that the article mentions that Europeans abstained from voting. The next time that someone mentions that Israel is in violation of tens of UN general assembly resolutions, you just need show them this and tell them that the same principles are in play: it is merely Arab and Muslim countries and a few enablers voting on their own pet issues.

I agree. The UN is nothing more then a diplomatic pretense at a real world solution. A 'resolution' is more than an opinion for the word implies a determined course of action. The UN's resolutions are not that...they lack any real action. Its members will sit around endlessly debating their opinions and passing ineffectual and often hypocritical resolutions while people die.

I’m beginning to think certain portions of the UN were intentionally set-up to give ‘voice’ to a Nation, but no real claws if that Nation was trying to pass resolutions that will affect the rest of the World in a negative way; You know like, “Let them have their say but don’t let them get their way.”

Now, I’m waiting for Judaism and Christianity to start shouting from the Mountain-tops; ‘See how bad Islam acts!!! Disgusting! We never acted like that!!!”

And then I want to hear a big; “O Crap! We did act like that!
We better tell our Abrahamic Brethren, Islam, to lighten up or they are going to get their butts kicked…Hard! Like we did.
And if Islam keeps up this overt push to have our Abrahamic God run things, the rest of the World just may outlaw all of us Abrahamic religious types!!!” (All 3 Billion of ‘em! Wow…)

Yep, Fundamentalist Islam is getting slapped around pretty good now as they venture onto the Global Scene as a Player touting their outdated (and outrageous) religious beliefs.
They will rant and rave, demand and be denied, just like the other Abrahamic religious sects I.e. Judaism and Christianity.

I’m waiting for a more intense Christian/Judaic bashing of Islam to the point they show The World how badly all their respective Abrahamic religious beliefs poisons the ‘soul’ of humanity…

The followers of Judaism are ‘El’s’ chosen; The Christians are ‘God’s’ Chosen and the Muslims are ‘Allah’s’ Chosen and all three are ‘Middle-Eastern’ Abrahamic in origin? Give us a break…

The Abrahamic sects are soo poisonous it causes the Muslims to hate the Christians who hate the Judaists who hate the Muslims and all of whom hate the unbelievers!!!!
Dump on ‘em all equally people!!! Before it’s too late!

These Abrahamic religious cults have brainwashed almost HALF of the World's population!!!

Religion Poisons Everything…imho ~rore

I guess you guys missed the intent and meaning of my posts altogether?
You guys know me! I think they are all FOS…
Whether they act out their beliefs covertly or overtly.

The covert actions are harder to deal with though.
Islam hasn’t figured this out yet to a large degree like Judaism and Christianity has.
They’ll eventually ’get it’ and will be pacified or we will see the majority of Humanity living with their heads up their butt, running amuck in a World dominated by Abrahamic butt-head beliefs.

If anyone believes the Christian Fundamentalists, the Judaic Fundamentalists and the Islamic Fundamentalists are not ALL trying to subvert OUR Freedom of Speech & Thought then those ‘believers’ are in for a rude awakening…

Just ask any of the cultures targeted by these Abrahamic cultists.

The above mentioned religious cults are all Abrahamic in Origin and have the same agenda: They demand their take on Humanity’s relationship with “GOD” be taken as the ONE & ONLY Reality regarding the matter…

I don’t care how they ‘couch’ it.

And don’t be deceived!~ They are cults… Plain and simple.

You all choose to believe one cult is more benign than the other if you will…
They are all out to push their agenda and two of them have been slapped down so bad over the centuries they have learned to be covert in pushing their agenda.

Islam is now getting the same treatment.

And it’s about time imho~rore

Lol Yeah but…lol
It gave me an opening to spout my spiel regarding these three Abrahamic religious cults that have so much power and influence in the World today.

It actually scares me because with over 3 billion religious folks polarized there is a chance of a major bloody Holy Conflict (Batman) happening again… This time affecting the Whole World in an ‘immediate way’.

The onset of a Modern Holy War engaging Judaism, Christianity and Islam is… Horrifying…

That’s why I say ‘Let ‘em talk’. The more they talk the easier it is for the rest of the World to see how ludicrous their path for Humanity is and, by association, it puts Christianity and Judaism in the spot-light too….

As long as Islam et al keeps getting knocked down when they demand their religious beliefs be incorporated into World Politics I think we’ll be safe from a Religious Armageddon. I think…~rore
