I recently saw a show on the History Channel. I believe it was "The Search for Extraterrestrials". However this show was more about the planets and their moons, and based on the extordinary findings going on, what lifeforms could exist. For example, they talked about finding liquid on Titan, and how methane geyers and rivers have been photographed, etc.
One scientist/astronomer put it this way, when the question of if ETs would look similar to us was proposed: "We share about 75% of our DNA with squirrels, and yet we do not look anything like them, nor do they look like us. So, what makes us think that any alien lifeform outside of our planet would look remotely like us, as the probability of them sharing any DNA with us is very very unlikely." So, that is my question... why do we always talk about and supposedly see these little grey humanoids, which have never been proven to be aliens from another planet, and assume that they are just that. Aliens. As a matter of fact, one scientist/artist on the show created a computerized drawing of a lifeform, based on what we know about Titan and it resembled a floating plant. This is just one example. But it seems to me that we have to expand our minds a little bit and get away from the "little green men" theory, when it comes to aliens from another planet. So, if these things are real..... what are they?

I know this video has been shown and discussed on this forum before. I was just wondering if it had been proven to be a hoax, as most of the videos from Mexico are.
This one, for some reason, hit me a little differently. The first time I watched it, I really got creeped out. Being the skeptic that I am, I had my doubts it was real. Aside from setting up the video camera in the beginning of the video, I cant see too many things wrong with this one. Maybe the men heard noises and knew something was in the stall? Any experts on critiqing video, please feel free to tear this one apart.... Like I said, I am a natural skeptic, this one has me wondering.... http://www.alienvideo.net/0702/chupacabra.php

See people, given enough time... and someone who is actually willing to do the investigating... some of this paranormal stuff can actually be explained.
http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/11/02/chupacabra.ap/index.html They mention in this article that they are still trying to find out why the coyote lost its hair... I still think it is mange. At any rate, this just proves that all things are explainable to me.

Well, I think it is time for Samurai to ride off into the sunset....
Thank you to those that provided thoughtful insight and intelligent opinions. I have a better appreciation of the alien/ufo phenomena because of our discussions. I will check back periodically to see how you are doing...and yes we both know who you are. To those of you that continue to use this forum for your own entertainment by posting unfactual stories and experiences just for kicks, you are ruining it for the rest of us. You are only adding to the idea that the majority of people have about us and the whole ufo phenomena. No wonder most of the population thinks we are all kooks. Instead of putting someone who challenges your ideas/beliefs on your ignore list, why dont you defend your beliefs? Why dont you do what this forum is supposed to do... promote provocative discussions in order for all of us to gain a better understanding. I think you do not stand up for your comments because you know they are bullhockey, and do not want to be called out. Grow up or move on.... and yes we both know who you are. Lastly, I would like to end by saying there is definitely something strange going on in our skies.... there are also many unexplainable phenomena taking place in our world. I would encourage all of you to seriously look at all logical explaintions before jumping to the conclusion that aliens are involved. I wish we had proof of these aliens, but the simple fact is, we do not. So...why not look at other possibilities that are more "down to earth" and rule these out first. Us humans are so finite, we think we know so much, yet in the grand scheme of things, we are arrogant, self-centered beings, who have only scratched the surface of the unknown world (both physical and spiritual) around us.... Good luck, and Sayonara. |
