The large hadron collider
Part 1, 2, and 3 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_fJ6PMfnz2E...feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MQNPpeVvZ9w...feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_XbKZwXK-3c...feature=related Human tries to experiment how the universe began and they come up with that at the beginning there are nothing but just masive energy and then Bang! the energy fall into some kind of field that create all matters or elements. Imagine that the computer that we're using, the buildings, the land and trees, everything, at the beginning it was just energy but each atom of it was formed by something that energy falled into, as they called Higgs I guess. Neuclear reactions are the transform of elements and missing part become messive energy, if we think that's how elements unpack itself back to energy. Anyway I don't really know that the matchine suppose to do, but they think it's going to create a mini universe. but some people concern that it might be uncontrollable and a black hole that destroy us all. and maybe why aliens are here. What do you think?

What if religions are wrong. We were from somewhere else or we were here before we thought we know the beginning.
one of the evidences is crystal skulls "From Anna, Ceri and Chris learned that in the late 1970’s leading scientists from Hewlett-Packard crystal laboratories in Santa Clara, California had carried out extensive tests on the skull. Polarized light tests showed the massive cranium was made from just one piece of crystal and the jawbone was carved from the same piece of rock. The scientists said the workmanship on the skull was such that it would be almost impossible to reproduce, even with the most advanced of modern tools." if so, we might be the alien of the planet. and who are our ancestors?

Evolution is the knowledge that science explains about where we are from. Religion against that as if it's true there is no such the creator that they believe. My thread is to discuss more likely about evolution. As we know that DNA is the genetic code that form us the way we are, and so all the living creatures in the planet. What make it change? Which evolution theory is more likely believable? (Natural Selection? Adaptation?,...)
Here is my idea. I don't believe in adaptation. because I don't believe that desire can change genetic code. For example, snakes, as they found the bones that look like it used to be legs before, they can not think that i don't wanna use legs no more and then it effect the genetic code that transfer to the next generation. or even the action that they move like snake when they still have legs effect their DNA. Natural Selection is the weirdo became famous, and existing. The accidentally mutation change and be better in environment became the survivals. That is more possible. But what make the mutation happen? must be something that effect the reproductive cells bioticly. For me, there are 3 things that I can think of, accidentally aligning, food, and radiation. Maybe it just happen. Maybe food that we eat effect our reproductive cells. what separate our kind to be 3 big main groups? do you believe that food might has magic? for example, the tree that is tall has biotic chemical that effect their gene to make it stay tall, then giraffe ancestors eat it, it effect their reproductive cells accidentally and make the baby tall. What if rice effect the reproductive cells of human to mutate the yellow skin, and wheat make it white. Is it possible that the nutrition or some kind of biotic chemical from food does something with genetic code with the cells before meiosis? the duplication before the process might grab something from environment that does not suppose to be. and the last guessing is the radiation from the sun did it.

They claim that their religion is peaceful. the word of religion itself means peace. But the belief is just whatever they think it's their god's will, and they believe TOO MUCH. Their god became a violent god, as they will get rewarded when they finished the missions. 50% of them says it's alright to do so. and they pray to god for someone they hate to get a serious disease and die. any religion has some beautiful parts of teachings, but will that be the real beauty or the trap?

Buddhism believes in no Gods. Everything is under causes and effects. No Judge who can give us favour but it's all depends on our own behavior that affects this life and next life or lifes. So, we are here because of our past acts. There are some wander powerful spirits as they did something good and gave them power but not forever, as spirits also wander in what's true what's not true just like us, that they fasinate in power and do live human alone. Howevery, everyone still not escape the rule of nature, the changes. With this understanding buddhism teaches us to behave ourself along the journey. Because our journey ends at some place that has not any more changes and extreemly happy and peaceful.
To behave ourself along the journey, as our mind condition has not enough power to drive us to the goal, Buddhism has 5 basic precepts. 1. Refraining from destroying or harming other living creatures. 2. Refraining from taking what is not given. 3. Refraining from sexual misconduct. 4. Refraining from lying. 5. Refraining from taking intoxicants and narcotics. 3 things that buddhists should do are givings (forgive, things, knowledge) that will be useful for others, obey those precepts, and practise meditation. There are so many things to discuss about those but wouldn't be able to write it at once here. you can imagine that those are all peaceful behaviors. Buddhism teaches about middle way, it's somewhere in the center where we are not too tense or too loose, for example, working, not too hard to halm the health and happiness, or doing nothing at all. Do the best with no greed, but being diligent. Our environment will last a long time, when everyone use natural resource as care about our next generations. It's all up to our mind, with good intention. Once there are no one fighting in the name of God and call for help from others who believe in the same thing, and everyone are under the same rules that no one has no favor or previllage of doing something that be harmful or disturbing others. Can you imagine that if we will have no war and all the money is put toward clean energy generators instead of military, we all pay much less electricity bills and good for environment, wouldn't that be so nice? |
