Hi

I just want people to know that I was infected by this nasty Trojan after clicking on a photo in here. My virus checker picked it up. But, if you don't update everyday you might have it. It latches onto a .dll file in anh video programs you might be running.

Can someone check that the database isn't affected??First Trojan in 6 months.

where?

Hi

I'm not sure but it was in a folder I had images from in here only..I don't know what image it was but I did click on one a few weeks back and saved the linked image.

I deleted the entire folder and the virus checker removed the virus I did another check and it wasn't picking up the Trojan in the deleted folder and I cleaned the original file. Maybe that was it. But do a thorough virus check to make sure. It didn't slow my comp or anything just was a Trojan dialer..

How I traced it back to here also, was to re-trace my steps on the day and hour the checker told me it first originated in my files. I checked the folder and there were images from in here-or at least images I had saved through here. Even the time was right for when I was in here one-day when I only came in here-and it was just after I posted about BBB Murdoch.
