My group of my friends recently went to Waverly (it was a work night for me so I didn't get to go..once again). They went on an all night excursion. I've no reason to doubt them..they're my friends and they are all law enforcement. That's not to say that cops don't lie but, simply, I trust their judgment...as well as their observation and recall. At one point, as I'm told, they were sitting in the middle of a pitch black hall. Directly in front of them, a ball of bright white light materialized out the side wall, floated across the hall and disappeared into the opposite side wall. They've taken numerous pictures and evp but have not went through them all. I'll post anything interesting with their permission.

That's an authentic pic, as far as I know...it really is just that creepy. Its not their's, I just wanted to show what it looks like. Weapons and alcohol are not allowed on the premise. The owners do charge for people to tour there. The prices depend on how long they people want to stay and other than a couple of security guards, they are left to their own devices. Some doubters say that the owners are just trying to make a profit. But the Waverly was haunted long before the owners bought it and any profit simply goes to the upkeep of the ruined hospital. Fact is, they simply don't make enough to be motivated by profit. I doubt that they make enough to pay the security guards' wages.

Here's a trailer to Sci-fi's documentary on Waverly...I like how someone called it the 'Holy Grail of the Paranormal'....it certainly is the epitome of a haunted place

Interesting, I wonder what the employment record of the security guards is. It would be interesting to interview them if given the chance. I look forward to seeing the pictures and hearing the evp.
