would you vaporise all humans,advance thier technology,or knock them back 10,000 years?

How can we honestly answer that, since we do not know how an alien would think.

If it were me, I would ignore the damn place and simply pass over it.

If I were an alien going on vacation on earth, I would go to disneyland disquised as Mickey Mouse and freak out some kids hahahahaha!

Take all the art objects worth looking act and post what was left into the dimensional reality space internet on the forum labled tragic comedy.

Then I would melt it down for scrap and make all the objects I stoled priceless artifacts of a lost and gone forever world. Try to convince the rest of the universe that cubist art is authentic self portraits of the original natives and swear I had nothing to do with their distruction.

Then put the empty earth on the real estate market.

Well, we have no idea how the alien mind works, but if i am to base it on how our minds work. When i am on vacation, it is usually to relax, experience new things and just having fun.

Never while on vacation have I thought of Vaporizing the inhabitants of whatever country I am vacating in.
Never while on vacation have I thought of advancing the technology the inhabitants of whatever country I am vacating in.
Never while on vacation have I thought of knocking the inhabitants of whatever country I am vacating in 100,000 years back in time..

That assumes you would take a normal vacation. With the universe to choose from, you come to earth?

i would convince everyone i was god have christmas on the 25 of every month.

I think as an alien , I would want to watch the ads on the earth peoples devices and see what earthlings are really into. The tv ads say alot about us as a planet and really puts us in a bad light for other species.

I would do what I do when I visit other peaceful countries. I would say hi and get to know the culture with a hands on approach, but never try to hide who I am. I would however make it clear that I am not going to be taken away by any government under any circumstances. I certainly wouldn't be rude and start experimenting on people, farm animals, and making a complete butt out of myself. I may even purchase a few nick nacks to show my friends.

That is not the question is it? The question is what would you do if you where an alien on vacation on earth.
Besides, no matter what planet i was going to, the first thing i would want to do is to explore, see new things, have fun. So in a way i would treat it as a normal vacation.

If I knew advanced science and had advanced technology (vastly), then I would observe (spy) on humans through my technology (maybe human Internet, etc), perhaps the odd abduction. I sure as hell would not contact humans. They have nothing to give that I cannot take.

I would be a super tourist. Visit the big city's always looking up at the tall buildings with my mickey mouse hat on eating a hot dog with a camera around my neck.
