After 4 hours in the hospital and a ambulance ride, weee, I got xrayed, stitched and whatnot... So I was happily cleaning everything up at 10pm last night after a nice succesfull show and BOOM damn brick wall falls down on my head. For a couple of seconds I was running on adrenaline, blood everywhere and people staring at me like they've see an alien, I was all shaking saying "I'm ok, I'm ok..." God(teacher) was like **** man your not okay your lucky your not dead, then I lied down for a while cuz I almost blacked out, some dude calls my dad, then my dad gets there and they FINALLY decide to call the ambulance. I was pretty ok by then, just dizzy and still running on adrenaline since I couldn't feel anything. Got to the hospital, waited for like 3 hours for a doctor to see me, she did w/e to me, stitched my cut( I'm gonna have a scar hehee), then got home...

I'm prolly not going to school for like 2 days. For one, I can't wash my hair without infecting the thing and 2. this is like a bad hangover, not that I would know how that is... but from my neck up everything feels like shit, I can barely move my head arround.

Lol, thanks for all the support guys.

Yeah I'm a guy, lol but the scar won't really be visible since I have alot of hair.
The doctor wanted to cut my hair but in the end she didn't have to.

I feel fine, my neck still hurts and it's all stiff, my headache is almost gone. I missed 2 days of school, thats a good part, and they can't say anything about it since a piece of the school fell on my head.

The show was a 'mini-oscars night' thing, our class filmed a few movies (my group made an "x-files" episode, I'll post it once I can encode it.) and then we invited friends and family and since I was already in the school's tech team I did the stage lighting and the sound for the band and whatever.

Hey, Alien!
Sorry about the ambulance ride...had a few of those myself last year.
But, hey...I do the professional version of what you're doing in school! I'm both an audio engineer and a lighting director (more lights now, but more audio experience).
If you ever want to nerd-out on tech talk, PM me! smile.gif

that's so cool!

We rented a LOT of stuff for yesterday night's show. We rented a big equalizer, a big touring 24ch dimmer pack and used our crappy behringher DMX512 console to control it, I hate that console. Last year we rented a professinal full size controller, we also rented some moving head projectors(I hate dip switches.) We had over 100 XLR wires hanging arround from everywhere it was insane. We also got a hazer which was pretty cool.

We bought 2 behringer 6ch dimpacks for the school but they SUCK, one of them freezes every 30 minutes and the other one has a blocked channel, it wont fade or anything. We just got a clearcom system that cost the school about 5000 bucks.

lol.. there you go wink.gif
