However since that time I have recieved a degree in earth sciences and have training in radiation and various other environmental disciplines that I now do not believe there is evidence to convince me that an nuclear war occurred in the past.

Well, we know at least that the Muslims knew about "atomic technology" thousands of years ago. That is to say, they knew that:
"if one where able to split the atom, power strong enough to wipe out an entire country would be unleashed"

Can't remember the exact quote, but it was something along those lines.

Yeah, that's stretching it.

But "the muslims" did play a large part in coming up with a lot of science.

Swiss author Erich Von Däniken confessed during a 1978 PBS Nova television program, that some of his claims, conversations, and research did not take place at all; he simply invented material through what he termed writer's license.

Moreover, his calculations are wrong, his facts are misquoted or fabricated.

Oppenheimer quoted from the Bhagavad Gita. I am become death, the destroyer of worlds.

This from Arjuna who was full of remorse for ending a war and destroying his eneimies. He had changed form to become the multi armed deity so that he could hurl a silver mistle through the air that harnessed the power of the sun to destroy his enemies.

When Arjuna learned that his enemy from another world was related to him he did not wish to fight any longer. He was convinced to change form and defeat his enemy when Krishna revealed to him that Krishna was the Bhagavad, the supreme being. As the Bhagavad Krishna told him that death was only a change in form to another level of existance.

Arjuna was as full of remorse for his actions as Oppenheimer when he said I am become death, the destroyer of worlds.

The Bhagavad Gita is just one part of the longest epic poem ever written, and is the foundation of the Hindu religion. It was first put in writing sometime befor 400 bc amd its actual age is unknown. It could be interpreted as a nuclear war across the heavens and between worlds.

Erich Von Däniken may have been on to something. Much of our history is lost. Ancient text and ancient sites both suggest that our history is of much larger scope than we perceive it to be.

The natural world will never fall short of amazing. But it is not that amazing. I once thought that there was a lack of real evidence for things like advanced technology in our history. Then one day I talked to friend of mine and began an adventure that has changed my view of many things.

Yes, we have had nuclear wars in our distant past. But nuks were not the worst of weapons to have been used. It seems people have been very creative, much more creative then we are today. So much so that the truth sounds unbelievable.

And the mild, tame, boring story of evolution is the pet of a people that don't want their own history so they created another.

changing history to suit your needs.i think we have been here for a lot longer than current beliefs.the only evidence we get to see through public media is filtered through a need to know basis.governments excuse;you can't handle the truth(so they make one up).

maybe the real truth would undermine thier authority, expose the web of lies that are different at every level.if i'm starting to sound like a conspiracy nut!SHOOT ME! blink.gif

Maybe an ancient war between earth and mars. I think its obvious who won.It doesn't take that long for mans mark to disappear or be destroyed. So much of our history is lost and maybe forever.

http://s8int.com/atomic2.html

here is another link to a similar article, they found underground, nuclear powerplants, more efficient and larger than ours, and which used the geography to contain and confine radiation.

i wonder who built them. seems that these superior ancient technologies always seem to utilize and take into account earth as a whole. lots of "rock tech" i like to call it.

If you liked Von Daniken's theories, check out the more realistic ones of Rael. Download his book for free at www.rael.org the book is called 'Intelligent Design-Message from the Designers'.
