    Exclamation Magnetics

    Hi All,

There are many things that require magnetic power inorder to exist. As a matter of fact, almost everything that we use to keep us going as a vital civilization hinges on magnetics.

Which is why I want all of you to take a look at the chart, posted at the NASA web site, concearning the loss of the Suns "Magnetics". And notice when it will cease to be.

It is very odd that the closer we get to the "Galactic Plane", the weaker it gets. So maybe there will be no "Solar Max" in 2012-2013.

    Heres the link.

    What do you think?

    Hi OB,
The 11 year cycle still continues, and will see it's peak in late 2012.
The weakening magnetosphere discourages activity on the surface, but the build up of subsurface pressure continues unabated. It will be fabulous come 2012. The flares should reach us easily.
    Lull before the storm, dude.
    Peace.

    Cool quiet

I tend to agree with GOD here, OB. No one is suggesting that the Sun's energy is depleted anytime soon. Its power is beyond imagination, shining us on: if things go quiet all of a sudden something big is coming our way.

I don't see it being anything of too great importance, at least not me
Really though, the chart on the site only goes back to around 1995 (roughly ten years of data isn't very substantial), and considering we are in a low period of sun spots, I'm not all that surprised. Interesting and a bit surprising, but nothing anymore amazing than the sun itself.

    Post New Study!

    Hi All,

Here is a link to some data that shows a more dramatic connection between "The Sun", "The Earth", and "Magnetics".

    http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases...0910091337.htm

I say this, not them. The future of life on this planet hinges on the total effect of crossing the "Galactic Plane"(aka- The Magnetic Equator of the Milky Way Galaxy), we are already in the "Cone of Unceartinty", the Earth will cross in Nov. 2012, the Sun will cross in late Dec. of the same year, Jupiter will cross about six months ahead of the Earth.

Just keep an eye on Jupiter, whatever happens there, will happen here six months later.
