Hi, i would like to share some of my drawings with you all.
I've been drawing and painting my whole life, but hardly ever showed it to people. There is some alien stuff aswell as some others. I'd like to know what you think and if it's perhaps worth doing something more with this...Thanks
p.s. those are only the 'smallest' ones. Most of the files i've got on my pc are too big to download in here, but if people like this, i go and open an account on deviant art. |

Hey!
These are some awsome drawings. I myself am an artist. I went to school in Glenwood for Graphic Design but decided it wasn't my bag. You have some intense drawings with a good sense of gradient balance. My artistic opinion. Your first drawing could use some more black to bring out the face. Tho, I like my paintings contrasty very white and very black but don't take it personal. I find joy in critiques. Your last painting relley got my senses going. Love the darkness against the briliant flying vehical. Clouds have good defination. Perceptual 2-d movement can do wonders for the artist. Great stuff buddy! peace, Austin |

Not bad, you can barely see the numbers you used to connect the dots.
Kidding aside, it looks pretty good. I really like the second one.

Good artwork!!! Maybe you can use them for a comic book or maybe conceptual art for a video game (the alien ones).

Sorry just saw them. Absolutely terrific! Hey I am no expert but you know soem of them remind me of Inuit (used to be called Eskimo) art from our native people in Canada up North. Some of it is sort of like Dali. Gret stuff! I like the dragon one a lot. I would love to see you incorporate more then one creature in a picture and with more fluid movement! Fantastic.

Very nice drawings Craft. I agree with Rube. They seem to have a native American quality to them.

That's interesting! Hmm. I never thought of that actually, and i know close to nothing about the native american art.. cool, should check out on that more
most of these drawings start with one line, then two, three and more, eventually i see things in those lines and start to work on what i see. Figures and shapes appear and direct me to an ever changing result, until i finally come to an 'end', when it's 'finished' (wich it never really is) Often figures, or 'themes' just come into my head and out of my hand, its difficult to explain. It's just there. I draw and drift away with my thoughts and often i'm suprised what happens on the paper, when things just seem to work out
I often think that i'm getting my ideas from 'up there' or something... It's just my personal translation that you see.. Thanks tons for all the compliments, you all! It not only flatters me, but i'm confident now that i could present this further for exhibition... thanks

Hello crafth,
I love' em all, especially the first two ones. They look sooo... familiar. Go on with your talents. P.S. I've a very good friend who also paints beautiful "ETs", especially the Grey types. You can see some of them on this web site: http://www.yevasuniverse.com/ |
