UFO hunters on history channel

My grandfather witnessed a UFO (several) in 1947 coming home one night from Roswell NM. If I have all my p's and q's right -he was sent down there to work on a power glitch in the power plant during that time. I wrote about that some where on this site but can't find it yet.
Any way I over heard many of the conversations about UFOs as child. Way back then people would sit out on the porch after dinner . We lived in the mountains of the South West. My grandfather would point out stars and constilations to me when I was young . I remember one night very well. I even remember that Jimmy Dean was on the TV inside (it was the mid to early 60's). When the topic went to UFO's that night. I asked my grandfather a real simple child like question about UFOs. I asked him how they got here and where they came from..... How they were able to travel so far.. I didn't think to ask why they came for some reason. My grandfather told me that our earth was just a grain of sand in space and that there were several beings from differant places visiting our earth sometimes. That night I dreamed that I went out into the stars and could count to a million. I remember that dream to this day.
He told me that they used gravity and magnetic pull and push sometimes. then he showed me by example how it was possible. I asked him where the ones he saw came from and he pointed toward the Milky way then drew a line up. That is what I remember.
A few weeks ago I also saw on the UFO hunters (history chan.) that color has it's own vibration. Which I thought was interesting because my late husband also witnessed a UFO in PEN. He said every one did on that highway and pulled over . My husband said that the colors that sparkled and flashed were Aqua Marine.
Any way I have alot of memories - yet they are a bit fragmented. I myself have seen dancing lights (not stars that appear to move if you stare at them in the sky at night) and something materailized (like a mirage in the sky) during day light. AND IN THE PAST I have HAD MANY DREAMS . But not now it would seem - not since 1998 -don't know why.

Thunder Bird

Hello I found this site as I was looking around. Thought I would tell this story that happened in 1987.
I worked in the field with geologists for two years here in NM. We camped out in late Jan. down around the Gila wilderness looking for turq. and other gem stones. I am a jeweler and had equipment to cut and polish stones and set them or make beeds.
The long dirt road that we took resembled the wall of China. The geologist I was with was driving and his tire slipped and we were over the side pointing down ward .We were stuck there for a week until we rescued ourselfs as the help we thought would come did not .We hiked 9 miles to the highway and hitched into Silver City NM.
My friend thought that help would come so he wanted to stay because that was the last place our friends knew that we were. We didn't have cell phones back then.
The last day we were there we were sitting down out side counting and looking at turq. nuggets on a tarp. It was about noon when a shadow passed over us. I thought it was a glider or small plane , which was a bit puzzeling because we were truely deep into the mountain wilderness. But it was a very large Bird fling about as high up as a small plane might in those mountains. I grew up here in the mountains of NM and I have seen many wild birds. It contenued to fly east then showed up again and circled lower over us. I weighed about 100lbs then but had a paniced thought that this bird could swoop down and pick me up. I just wanted to get hell out of Dodge , which we did.
A big snow storm was building up on the way out.
Because I have been so obsessed with that bird I have done much research and know that Big birds will hitch rides on storms. Was it a Thunder Bird? I think so. Can I prove it -how?

logic as we measure it now.

I love Astronomy . I love the stars. I watch every progam that I can watch , such as the Universe on the History channel about the stars and planets. I see how vast they are and how incredibly Hugh and also how very far away even a solar system that we might consider having life on at least one planet in the comfort zone of that system . My logic tells me that the distance and relative size of planets is just almost too much to comprehend. Like throwing a peanut ten thousand light years out into space. How could travel happen with such vast space and distance to places light years away? It would take a leap of thought and incredible knowledge to even imagine traveling beyound our own solar system. Many years and hundreds of years if at all.
And yet I also know that people that I love , respect and care about did witness a U.F.O. I experianced something simalar when I was a child (though it seems like a dream -maybe it was a dream ) I saw lights in the sky zig zag for an hour when I was in my late twenties one night.
There are always questions about IF it is our own government doing this. That could be true .But there is a part of us and animals (such as dogs )that can since and percieve with out thinking thoughts . It is probably a natural part of survival ( I don't know for sure). But I do know this , animals get real scared around a U.F.O's.. And at least the people that I know and love tell me that there is no doubt in thier mind that they are seeing and sensing something that is profoundly not apart of our world.
