All of a sudden the links are not working within threads. Where they used to be black and clickable, the url tags appear arround them and they don't work. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Does anyone know what the fix is?

I see what you mean... I think (think being the operative word here) admin has been in trying to take care of a few spam issues and maybe somehow the clickable links thingy has been knocked out of action during the process...

I've been away for a couple of days but will try to contact Ron later on and let him know in case he doesn't realise this...

Thanks for letting us know...

Dingo

Hey guys,

I have re-enabled BB Link codes which was the reason for the issue with the links on the site. We are working to do our best to rid the spam from the site. However, and I apologize for this in advanced, during this process there may be a few issues on the site - this is an example of this. We have gotten to the point where we have removed the possibility for almost all automated spam, however we still have any issue with people making posts (i.e. human spammers) these are much more difficult to stop.

Most of the remaining options to stop this are not ideal - I will give an update shortly with some options and probably see what you all as a community want to do.

All the best and happy thanksgiving to all of my fellow Canadians.

Cheers,
MrRonX
