Large Solar Eruption
This has prob already been posted ... but thought it was great and at the same time , scared shitless lol....
It was shot by NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory during an intense solar storm on August 31.
"It is hard to easily judge the size of this 3D event with a 2D image at this angle, but this filament is probably on the order of 30 Earths across, 300,000 kilometers or 186,000 miles," explained C. Alex Young, a solar physicist at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center. "When the filament expanded into space it quickly became more extended leaving the sun as a CME many solar diameters across, many millions of kilometers or miles."
I believe the word is .....'EPIC'....

Well thank you lear for allaying our fears and just how do you know its normal ? You been listening to those self indugent scientificos again ? This could point to the big solar eruption this December..

A good idea stands on its own value independent of authorship.

No it didn't bart it is on the other side of the Sun .. this is just a reaction from the sun due to the polarity and gravity wells that are forming as it comes ever nearer...
