Have just never understood why (or how, for that matter) this super wealthy corp with enough cash to fund salaries and operations for 7 years without income always set aside . . .

and all the best and brightest of talent that could be begged, bought or stolen from all other corp's and graduating classes

can't come up with good, clean, lean, bug free code . . .

And why, have they seemed to make a chronic tradition of horrid customer relations and troubleshooting?

And why, are their help pages and software decision trees so useless and infuriating? Over what--the last 10+ years? . . . 99% of every time I or friends or colleagues have tried to use the onsite help pages, the result has been utter uselessness and INCREASED SHEER EXTREME FRUSTRATION and no little fury. And that's with a lot of people who are pretty hard to irritate.

Part of me is convinced that there must be dozens of suicides per year just from the sheer frustration and despair of dealing with Microslop.

    It's mind boggling.

It's almost like they set out to be the worst corporation at what they do, instead of the best. And then when customers complain, they treat the customers WORSE and make customers' lives MORE MISERABLE!!!

I can't imagine such a corporation surviving if they didn't have such a huge monopoly.

The only way I can explain it to myself is extreme arrogance and huge blind spots.

Or else it really is part of the Controllers'/puppet masters communist plot to make people crazy as another excuse to decrease the earth's population burden. That's mostly a joke. I think.

Here's a link to a new FAQ about the problem.

I hope it's OK to post the link. If not, please let me know or just delete it. Trying to do the right thing for all concerned here.

A week after becoming aware of a severe vulnerability in the Windows Meta File (WMF) portion of Windows operating systems, Microsoft has announced that it will not rush its patch to release, but will instead test the patch with plans to release it on Tuesday, January 10th as a part of it's routine monthly security bulletins. Microsoft claims that they have been closely monitoring the attempted exploitations of this particular vulnerability over the last week, and while they do admit that the issue is serious and that attackers are actively attempting to exploit the vulnerability of affected systems, Microsoft’s partners and intelligence sources do not believe that the scope of the attacks is widespread.

Opera and firefox in my opinion are not that good I will stick with IE.

Most web sites are catered to IE and I found alot of things wont display properly in the other browsers.

I would really like to know who is using this browser. The IE based 'alternative' browsers are just horrid. Think of IE as a single wide trailer. Get these 'alternatives' like Crazy Browser and Maxthon just gives you a doublewide. Why be trailer trash when you can be rid of ActiveX by using Firefox and Opera?

As far as problems using those browsers, I dont know anyone that has really tried them and hasnt liked them. Besides, tabbed browsing is a hell of alot better than opening a dozen windows to view different topics in a forum, for example.
