just curiosity. been seeing lots of military helicopters recently. didnt think much of it till i seen 3 sea knights, the kind that hold tanks and junk. wasn't over the country either, this was in town! also seen some of the fighter kind. if it's happening in other citys, could this be leading up to anything?

kev....I'm not exactly sure what town you are near.....but bear in mind many airports have national guard bases.....I remember spending time at an air force base....and watching the chinooks picking up the C-130 practice airdrop parcels.....the cobras and apaches also frequent many areas.....I see hueys, blackhawks and cobras all the time....and I am near a number of cities. I have seen a lot of military helocopters just like yours and they are the same exact kind as well here in New Hampshire.

kev.....I remember back in the late 1980s there was during the waining days of the cold war. I remember working at military bases....however since that time the military resources are less centralized. So you can see the military away from bases.....even around cities....as many smaller airports now have national guard bases. I live near a few such airports.....and see helicopters all the time......so as I said previously I would not think anything is out of the ordinary.
