Yeah, I'm not convinced for a second, and as the article points out, under scrutiny there's an issue of perspective concerning his right arm.
Still, I'm easily impressed and I think that's excellent. Pretty well done and a new one by me, hoaxed time traveller pics.

It is pretty well done, the thing I noticed was the physical size of the man, his head looks to big compared to the others around him. I know some of us hav boof heads but it does look quite a bit bigger than all there apart from the couple of people closest to the camera.
This is also a first on me aswell, but i have to say wouldn't a time traveller want to need to blend in, he looks so out of place and yet not one person is looking at him in shock and disgust at his clothes as the older generation would have done in those days...
* I use sarcasm on-line because it's easier than driving to your house and punching you in the face.*
Looks a bit like Kevin Spacey in the film K-Pax. Just chillin' back in time.
That would be really out there.
But is the guy next to him on his right, with the glasses and the hat looking at him out of the corner of his eyes if you look close?
And the older people, if it was real, could just be thinking, he is of lower class and styled differently and, "kids these days".
He is holding a camera?
He is just taller and his head is longer proportioned, I've seen many people like that.
The shadow's seem okay.
It probably is hoaxed, I'm just adding what I see to it. They made a fairly good photo.

Exploration of Humanity is continuous for planetary advancement.
It's no more scientific than an imagination
It's wonderfully done, but fake. Several points (we'll call him TT for Time Traveler):
1) scale is every so slightly off. Either TT's physically weird, or he's a paste job.
2) Shadows on the TT's face, but not on the faces of others. Still, I'm impressed by the light angle. It's slightly off but almost perfect.
3) TT's left hand has a problem. My guess? The left hand is from whoever was originally standing there. The right hand is from the paste-job TT. Looking more closely, the right hand may be original as well. The sleeve looks 'off'. It could be that the hands and camera are original.
4) Something doesn't look right in the pixelation and resolution, but it's too close to call.
I would say it's a superb paste-job. Better than I can do.
"Dark Puppy of the Apocalypse"
I think it's viral marketing for the museum.
If it is an undoctored image I think it is a student repoting for the local Uni newspaper. Can the M on the shirt be linked to any Uni sports teams from that location and ere?
the camera could be a Leica II - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The hair and sunnies? there was this guy in the 40's who set the trend...Laurence something....
I don't know, but I think marketing none the less.
and I thought I held the monopoly on fogetomori links

Teach kids HOW to think not WHAT to think.
Actually, would it be acceptable to assume that a Canadian guy, 18-25, in 1940, would have been enlisted and busy fighting WW2?
Unless a de-formed arm kept him out of service?
