Thread: Nazi threat?

Well there are many groups who follow that political direction. The tendencies in Germany itself are not as large as in other countries with a less violent past.

i really don't think there are any active Nazi's around in the traditional sense. Sure there are former Nazi's still alive, being former Nazi soldiers not Nazi leadership really, just about all WW2 vets alive today are currently in there 80's or 90's now. My grandfather who is an American WW2 vet is 87. So that kinda gives you an idea that there aren't a bunch of old Nazi men planning on revivng the Nazi super power, they are like everyone else, relaxing and enjoying there golden years not planning world domination. for most of them their fighting days are long over and they saw it as being drafted and serving there country, nothing more. I would guess that the Nazi leadership, are all dead, most of them were older and if alive would probably be over 100 years old.

But with that being said, there are many modern Nazi's who identify with Hitlers aspirations and goals and politics. If you look, I believe anti semitism is on the rise, especially in Europe. jewish graves are often vandalized and spray painted with swastikas. I think this is not only Nazi's but because of the rise of extreme Islam in Europe, which they are if not as anti semitic, even more so than the Nazis.
It would be scary but it could possibly happen, that being Nazi and crazy ass Islamists joining forces to try and eliminate Jews. But that being said, I can't see that a large movement like Hitlers would ever happen, at least not in the near future

How do you know it is not their children planning an attack, anyway, i am not saying this will happen, i'm just saying it is a possibility , and given the crappy governments in 3rd world countries, i reckon they might look for leadership elsewhere, ie strong nazi leaders?

Well i said modern day Nazi's, and i am sure some had grandparents and parents that were Nazi's, but i personally don't think there is some big Nazi conspiracy or anything for world domination.

i don't realy think a banch of nizi's can do something.i am worried about the communist party at russia.

Any 'small group' can plan an attack but it would be a 'terrorist' attack in nature and not anything even remotely like the Nazi's of the 1930's. You see no 'Mass' movement or ideology can take place or happen without outward signs of it being there for all to see. Such signs don't exist. There are no massively attended rallies, no intercepted mass communications, no propoganda leaflets being passed around in their ten's of thousands, no organised and credible political body to represent the right wing views of Nazi-ism. Hitler and his cronies did everything openly and it is to the Western World's shame that we ignored the emergence of his ideology and movement...in many ways we just closed our eyes and prayed he would go away....that won't happen anymore.

There are still followers out there, but nothing to amount to anything. I think we have seen the last of a real threat from the Nazi's in the 1930-1940's.
