SD....It does seem that every state wants one....just like every lake now has a monster. IMO more than two states are likely without bigfoot.

As a resident...I agree. Could be that ole Footy was merely passing through when he got sighted in the less likely states.

Looks like we can scratch Delaware, they have reports as well...

that's what I'm saying I believe they are nomadic and like anything needing water or hunting they stay close to the water ways
much like we were/did long ago
you notice there are few and when they reported very primitive type structure's pointed out as theirs?I also believe they......like anything still wild wanting to survive....avoid us as actively as possible
that when we see them...........they messed up.....not that we did anything right

I just know thinking if I was in their shoes and had watched us.............I would activity avoid us too....being in their shoes of course we are nothing but bad news
they most likely see us as destroying all they hold dear
but are smart enough to know the best they can do is stay hiden

What does a bigfoot's call sound like? And no, that's not the opening to a joke.

See, we have the Yowie here in Australia and there's the Yeti in Tibet. It's the fact that so many indigenous cultures have stories about these creatures that makes me believe there is truth to them.

Sure, they're will be the idiots who run around in gorilla suits and use plaster casts but these stories existed long before Caucasians showed up.

I don't believe there are huge herds of Sasquatch roaming the Pacific North West but it's not beyond the realms of probability that a life form primitive to man still exists.

real close to what I've heard

This reminds me of the 1800's when a scientist heard about big black and white bears in china that eat only "trees". He dismissed it as bunk becaused there is no such thing as black/white bears that only eat "trees". Anyways he went to investigate and found them, came back and planed another trip. He could not find them this time, and it took 65(?) years for another scientist to find them. What gets me is this big "dumb" animal can remain hidden for so many years and big foot is not dumb but quite smart from reports. Also a great deal of USA soil has yet to be walked upon, so there are many places for old footy and his family to hide.

Have the bigfoot sound recordings been discussed here before?...This link has some recordings you can click and listen, are these considered credible in any way?...

I remember a few years ago someone had a recording of what they thought was bigfoot posted on their website and it gave me 'goose bumps' listening to it...If their recording was some unknown animal, I would not want to run into it out in the woods, and I love camping and hiking too...

SC, the calls are like high pitched yells, long and groggely(the majority of them), and short whooping, like it's trying to get the attention of something else. It's a sound unlike anything else I ever hear out there. There is no way its something else other than yeti, no coyote, no wolf, no animal in distress, no its none of them, that's why I have such a strong belief. I've seen tracks, heard calls. There is nothing else that can explain away what it is. And, the calls are very loud.

In the woods near where I live the area I've heard these calls come from, there's miles and miles of forest and there's a valley with 3 rivers, and leading to that valley is a deeply vegetated forest with another river running through it that has a trench/ravine next to it, dry river beds, ponds, there is so much space and opportunity for a yeti to make home there. This forest is massive and no humans besides myself ever go there.

On the website that nivek provided, combine the Klamath and Escada sound recordings, and what I have heard sounds a lot similar to those.

I know they exist, it's only a matter of time and place and opportunity for someone to find one, to bring the right kind of evidence to the mass.
