In the woods near where I live the area I've heard these calls come from, there's miles and miles of forest and there's a valley with 3 rivers, and leading to that valley is a deeply vegetated forest with another river running through it that has a trench/ravine next to it, dry river beds, ponds, there is so much space and opportunity for a yeti to make home there. This forest is massive and no humans besides myself ever go there.

On the website that nivek provided, combine the Klamath and Escada sound recordings, and what I have heard sounds a lot similar to those.

I know they exist, it's only a matter of time and place and opportunity for someone to find one, to bring the right kind of evidence to the mass.

Thanks for your reply. I just imagined that if Bigfoot is out there, because he's big, he would have had a deep, booming call. But high pitched? It's interesting.

Yes, one would think that. When you are out there hearing it for yourself, it sounds like something you would hear if you mixed a really, really loud humans voice and an ape.

I can imagine so though, if it is indeed yeti, that it would sound like this. If he is something like our ancestor, or closely related, he might have a larynx similar to ours.
I would think this could be so, with a bipedal moving animal, it would have descended a long the line somewhere, alteration because of its upright posture.
Which would give, I could think, when he yells, a high pitched yell. And the whooping is a little lower in pitch. The calls do generate different tones and different sounds, and with a descended larynx it gives you an extended vocal tract, which can then produce an array of sounds, high pitched, low pitched, short, long, you name it.

They say the pitch that they find in yeti recordings compared to humans correspond to heavier or larger vocal cords.

Im just surprised a body has never been found, like someone hit one in there car - they must bury there dead or take them deep in to the forests

but its true the usa is massive - i was in up state ny this year and i was in a car for 4 hours and never saw anyone - it was just forest for 4 hours straight - and when i got to a town it was in the middle of forest - so you could lose yourself in there for a very long time, and for a city boy - it was intimidating

Thanks Kelli. I get the difference between a human larynx and an ape one.

The Patterson film which is the great fake got me interested in this as a kid and I'm afraid I've never grown out of my fascination with the idea of another almost human life form wandering around out there.

I would not be happy about the idea of a Sasquatch being killed deliberately to prove to someone like me that they exist.

But if some real proof could be found and I mean real, substantiated proof then that would be terrific.

But, you know, I tend to think that this is the same as a real UFO sighting. Unless Bigfoot stomps around the White House followed by the world media then it will never be real.

Sigh.

I personally believe the patterson-gimli film is the best evidence we have to date.

I agree absolutely, when the video is viewed stabilized as I linked above, it just gives more credence to it's authenticity, I mean, just look at the way the creature moves in details, the arms, legs, hips, everything looks like there is true muscle moving and not a costume and stuffing...There was a in-depth examination and test to see how a man could move the way the video shows the creature...I will have to find it again, the results were that the video shows a unique animal and a man could not make those moves like it is shown...

I enjoyed reading that, thank you KelliAli...It's great the site has a link to the NASI Report, although it is an abridged version, there is extensive and detailed information on the study of the film and the creature in the film...

I was reading somewhere online which stated that this film was the second most analyzed film behind the JFK film...
