It is real.
Thats why they parked the school bus in the cave for a size comparison.
So we would not think they just zooomed in on a little bat.Whatever works, use it.
A good idea stands on its own value independent of authorship.
If it stands or falls on the credibility of the author, maybe it isn't such a good idea.

That bat could be any size. There's nothing in that clip to scale it to.
