It's short, I promise.

Saucer lands on a field to do whatever it's doing, it leaves a circulary mark. Much like the mark left on the woman's lawn in Budd Hopkins' book Intruders. After seeing this, people jumped to conclusions and hoaxers started creating elaborate shapes and circles themselves, creating this whole mystique. The end.

There's no way that saucers would land in such precise and complex patters. Well, I should'nt say "no way" but it seems unlogical. But who am I to question a foreign species logic. But most of the sightings I hear about state that the crafts they use are much bigger, and what about the triangle space crafts?. Where's there marks?. I have never seen a triangle in a corn field. come to think of it, why are they all circles???.

No no no, the original crop circle(s) (I'm saying only a couple here) were simple yet enigmatic. The hoaxers created all the elaborate patterns.

They are not all circles. There is a huge variety of shapes.

I dont see how you can just make a blunt point like that with no proof. Especially since your on an "Alien" forum so to speek.

I dont see how hoaxers could pull off all those complex patters, criss-crossing the stalks and leaving behind chemicles that have been known to make people faint without being caught and processed through our justice system.

Then maybe you should read significantly more of the crop circle threads to gain a better insight.

I don't see how anyone can claim aliens are doing it when only humans have been proven to have the ability to do so...

Fair enough, I dont hav emuch knowledge on the subject. But to be fair, many people who do studie these phenomenons have not ruled out the possibility that extraterrestrials are involved.

Well I though it was a good theory Hodge! except IMO Im not sure whther they land on the crop, I reckon they draw it from space, but as we dont even know for sure if they do make em, Im not really sure, if we knew about 1 which had defo been done by aliens then we could see what the differences are, but yes most of them are done by humans, me and mr t plan to catch them and find out which ones they done, and which ones that no one knows, so we can work if it is aliens!

You're probably right.

The thing that sucks is those people who are making stuff up make it harder for people to believe in it.

For them to all be done by human seems impossible for an overnight excursion, with the criss-crossing of all the stalks, bending them over carefully without breaking them. Although they could have taken weeks and just paid off the farmer and anyone who wandered by while they where doing their thing. If that is the case, then these guys have more time on their hands then me.....and that's saying something.

I'd have to wonder what chemicals they are using to create the effects of non-broken corn stalks and potentially harming people who enter them.

To me, it would seem like if they where going to use these chemicals, they would need a lot of money and skill, not to mention, If they were to be caught, they could get some serious prison time. (Destroying personal property, creating potentionally harmful toxins that have been known to make people faint, creating public disturbance...ect.)

yeah i guess ALL the circle makers that make the real ones are much more intelligent than all scientists that study them. just regular people making phenomena! happens all the time, all year round mind? and each time they are 10 steps ahead of the scientists? ok people make them! (and im the real MR.T) biggrin.gif

There are very few scientists devoted to crop circles, and I know they don't regularly set up surveillance... When they do set up surveillance in "hot spots" they don't catch anything on tape and no crop circles in that area appear.
