when I was younger, my sister would tell me that using a computer will never get me a girlfriend, that girls don't like computers and if I use one I will turn them all away?
but recently I've been noticing...... I know a lot more girls that are in to their computers than guys? what do you lot think?

Hmm, I think it is a non gender issue. I know many people of both sexes who love using their computers. I have noticed (and this is only with people I know so not generalising) that more guys than gals like to tinker with their computers, you know make a new one out of all different parts, or adding new hardware and software etc. I don't know much about computers, so i don't really go behind the scenes, I don't know any gals who do.

True, I have never heard of a girl taking the case off a computer and adding hardware, but I am going for "equally both" as there isn't much difference at all.

I think that boys and girls both use computers, but boys use it for more than most girls. I know almost every guy and girl at our school uses computers for AIM or Email, but thats about as far as most of the girls go. The guys on the other hand play games, and seem to listen to music way more on their computers. I have yet to see a girl with an mp3 player, but there are like 100 guys with em. Im also enrolled in a web design class. there are 2 girls, and around 25 guys.

Now im not saying its all boys with computers, but it seems its mostly guys.

hmm interesting. Id say with the MP3 thing, that possible that doesn't say about computer habits but music habits? so far we seem to have discerned that guys usually like computer more than girls..... but its often quite close?!
