Any Batman fans here?

I have to admit,I'm a big Batman fan so i'm pretty excited about this movie coming up,also i'm a big fan of Christian Bale, especially after American Psycho and Equalibrium...

I'm glad the Director Joel Schumacher's and Tim Burton are not going to touch this movie...I still think they did a great job on the other series of movies, but i think they did not stay true to the charactors, and it's probably some time now for some new blood to step up....

Many people are saying that this movie will not stay true to the charactors, but i welcome the changes...especially to the Bat mobile called the "Tumbler" which is used to smash through buildings and stuff(a hotted up Hummer)...

look for the trailers half way down the page on the right

I liked the first two batmans, and hated the rest. I hear this new one's going to resemble the first two, keeping it darker.

Anyone see the movie yet?....

I thought it was fantastic, the plot was great, alot of twists and turns...the best BATMOBILE scene out of all the Batman movies ever made,i thought the concept behind the new Batmobile was a great idea....

Christian Bale played his role pretty good,i was impressed by his charisma,i thought Nolan the director made a good choice,i gave it an 8/10 for the Batmobile scenes..

Actually yea, Tommy and Jim made that movie. Had a few funny parts, but it lost all the good aspects of the first two.

I love batman films, well only the first 2, after that it got silly and childish. The new one looks amazing, and the car......!!!!!!yes!!!!! it does actually run, the car scene in that film has not been graphically modified, its all real. The car was made in the UK also cos the americans said it was too hard to build, go GREAT BRITAIN!

They had the new Batmobile on BBC's Top Gear the other week. They said that it was constructed from scratch for the film, not that it is based on a Hummer.

Working with director Christopher Nolan, production designer Nathan Crowley conceived the car's shape by combining scale models of Humvees and Lamborghinis. Professional car designers are impressed.

Exactly, they built it from scratch, and didn't "hot up" a Hummer at all.

Whatever [poindexter].

The point is admittedly a trivial one, but nevertheless you attempted to mistakenly correct me on it. Do you always withdraw from debate, once it is apparent that the position you are advancing is incorrect, and accuse your opponent of being a socially inept pedant (ignoring the fact that you partook in the discussion)?

Mine was the second. The first was good in its own way. The movies were OK too.

This is the best Batman yet. Christian Bale looks like he was born for the role, and Michael Caine is simply perfect as Alfred. The story is very good indeed, and the ending itself leaves things nicely open for any number of sequels!

I thought it was pretty damn good, but I liked the first two best, and I doubt that will change.

Yea, but they would'nt be able to use Bale again. At least, I hope they dont. It would just seem odd to use him in a prequel and a sequel, going on both sides of Kilmer...
