Hi guys i just need some advice.. You see the problem is whenever a girl that i like talks to me, i always go red or get embarrased and can't talk properly. This has always happened to me. :blush2: .

Any advice on how to just, you know be able to act normally? Its not a problem for any of my friends.. Please help, i just want to be able to talk..

Anyhow, back to topic, I am guessing you are still young so this is a common occurance with young men and women. The only advice i can offer is to be natural and not try to hard to impress them, just get to know them slowly and the confort levels will increase each time you talk to them. Don't worry if you stuff it up the first time or even the first few times, just try and talk to them more and more and it will soon become natural. The worst thing you could do is say to yourself that you stuffed that up and don't try to talk to them again. Talk again and again until it becomes more confortable for you. There is no need to rush anything with them so just go easy on yourself and you will see that women are quite forgiving creatures. Remember they might be feeling just as uncomfortable as you and shy away becuase of that not because of you.

ttm2, same thing happened to me when I was younger. Like Iwatch says though... it just gets easier with more practice. Try not to let it embarass you. The more you think about it the worse it gets. In no time you'll be smooth talkin all the babes.

Hey just be yourself that always works better and just try and just relax when your around them. Hey when you go red some of thoughs girls might think its cute.

TTM2 do you have any female friends you aren't interested in, like you don't find them attractive, oh you know what I mean LOL. If you don't try and make some as that will make it easier to interact with members of the opp sex and then it will be easier to talk to the ones you are attracted to in that way. Anyway good luck with it all.

Bet it happens to more people than you think. Can remember it happening to me aswell. As someone else said, don't let it play on your mind. The more you talk to them the more confidence you will get.

Thats just the problem though i usually avoid talking to them at all costs.. I spose it would happen to alot of people but no one at my school really. It's just so annoying because i go red pretty easily so its blatantly obvious. [shudders] :blush2:

I know, I know im a wimp.

I'm 34 and I still go red in all sorts of situations. I just ignore it. So what if it shows Im embarassed, there isn't anything you can do about it so why worry. In fact having that attitude often stops me getting embarrased. Try not to worry about it, we are all the same.

PS. I'm pretty useless at giving advice, as my girlfriend keeps telling me, so sorry if this isn't what you was looking for.

took2...from a female POV..it is definately charming to see a guy blush or at a loss for words...my advice to you is to stop talking to the girl because you think she's cute...put that aside...talk to her because she is a friend...no more, no less...and when you've become at ease with her because she is a friend and are open and comfortable with her as with all your friends...then remember how cute she is...get it?

Do what I did for years! Wear a ski mask in public - they can't see ya blush!

Yeh i get it iwantobelieve.

Its not really for anyone in particular [well it kinda is] but just generally. I just want to be able to talk naturally without staring at the ground. It doesn't happen with ALL girls, but with the ones i like [their personality]. Its funny though i have no problem if a 'slut' [sorry bad wording] or someone's personality i don't like talks to me i have no problems. Even if i find them physically appealing.

Anyway i will try and just stay calm.. Thanks for the words of wisdom.

look ttm2 they all pretty much said it all. I have brown skin so i dont really blush so i dont remember ever really blushing anyways, if you get weak just pretty much just let her talk about herself they seem to do that alot if she likes you she will ask about you.
About not getting blushed hmmm.. kinda drawing a blank dude sorry.

I agree! It's very flattering for a guy to get a little nervous or red, and in some cases pretty darn cute. I wouldn't worry much about it. Chances are you know a girl who is crazy about you, but she just can't bring herself to talk to you because she gets silly whenever she tries to talk to you. It's a 'temporary' vicious cycle.

Ask her questions about herself. This distracts her from concentrating on you temporarily and it also shows her you're really interested in her and her opinions. Very flattering. Pretty soon, it'll all become natural and the pathway will be opened.:baghead:

Ok thanks for all the advice guys.. Next time i will just try to not worry and be natural.. I think that seems like the main thing.. Hopefully over time, i wont go red, every time a girl i like talks to me..
