right i don't know if this is true but around Hull there is a lot of talk about a terrorist bomb threat on Hull's biggest shopping centre, our Hull Royal Infirmary and apparently Medow hall has been threatened. A story i got told is about a woman finding a wallet and found a contact number and returned it to it's ower. Apparently it was a man i don't know his ethnicity but he wasn't English, i think he was somewhere from around Morocco. Anyway i got told he said to the woman returning it 'thank You you saved my life, now i will save yours, don't go in Princes Quay on the 10th of December because it's getting bombed.'' i don't know how it developed from there but there are even a lot of adults worrying about it.

It could just be a stupid story somebody has made up or it could be serious either way i thought i'd ask if anybody has heard of any such threats recently.

Thanks.

I assume you are saying such because you know of no credible specific intel toward such?

But itsn't it a plausible site?

I don't think we do well to get all wound up on every silly rumor floating by. But some sites deserve some extra caution these days regardless of no rumors, no intel or whatever. It's the nature of the threat.

I think we all have to extend our 'perception/safety bubble' quite a number of yards out from the former routine--especially when we are in areas that might be prime targets--regardless of rumors, no rumors, warnings or no warnings.

Oh no intelligence on this one ASLANs....it's just that this very same story was reported in New York, London and now it seems Hull. Only the location has changed...the circumstances are identical.

Then there are probably those who spread such rumors

1. because they are Jihadi's and love winding up fear at all chances.

2. because they are idiots with the maturity of a giddy 13 year old.

3. because they are overly paranoid and want everyone else to be so, too.

Any news on the "accident" and it's causes?

I'm skeptical of whatever the government says, frankly.
