Maybe do a forum search here about phoenix lights because there are a few threads which either talk about or make reference to this story... The poster who seems to discuss the phoenix lights quite a bit is Justice League. But if you come across any of his posts or threads be prepared to spend many hours reading and sorting through them.. some interestiong stuff there though...

I have to watch trailer in sound, my laptop sound is broken...

Initial thoughts - disturbing...

If any of these people end up in water tanks, I think I'll have a little mental breakdown...

Thak you opeth, always looking for more info on these events...

I witnessed Huge boomerang on 3/12/97 - day before phoenix lights except 1,000 miles away in norfolk Va.

see Chapter Outline - Norfolk Incident, Sandy's Hill and Phoenix Rising, three books I am working on...

Looks like a major indie film. At least they got Jason Connery in it. Exactly where will this film be playing? Sci Fi or indie theatres

When visitors came to the Oracle of Delphi for prophecy and guidance they asked Apollo to give them some advice about how to deal with the prophecies that they were about to be given.

Apollo replied, “Know Thyself.”

In ancient Greek the word for a ball of string was “clew”.

Today we spell that same word C-L-U-E.

Now, we all know what a clue is because we played that game when we were kids. From the simple clues we were given we were eventually able to figure out that the butler did it in the living room with a candlestick and the game soon lost its attraction.

So how the hell does a word meaning “ball of string” come to mean something so much different today. I’ll give you a clue...

We get the word C-L-E-W from the ancient Greeks who tell us that a very long time ago a creature called a Minotaur lived within a Labyrinthian Palace on the island of Crete. He was a terrible creature that had the upper part of a man and the lower part of a Bull. Each year the Cretans would sacrifice young people to satisfy the Minotaur’s appetite for flesh.

No one had ever escaped the Minotaur because no one could find their way out of the Labyrinth. Our brave and courageous hero figures this out and devises a plan to trick the Minotaur. On the day of his sacrifice our hero brought a small ball of string with him. As he made his way into the Labyrinth he rolls out his ball of string so he could follow it back out. Eventually our hero finds and kills the Minotaur, follows the string back to freedom and even gets to keep the young maiden too.

What do ancient lines drawn in the Peruvian desert have to do with the HAARP government research facilities in Gakona, Alaska today? What do the “Phoenix Lights” have to do with a secret time control experiment called the Philadelphia Experiment ? What do Gamma Ray Bursts have to do with the Heaven’s Gate Cult Suicides? What did Edgar Cayce, a renowned psychic who died 40 years ago, have to do with Nikola Tesla, Albert Einstein and the detonation of the first atomic bomb? Now the most important question of all...

Why should you care?

“Phoenix Rising” answers these intriguing questions and many, many more.

I`ve never heard of any abductions that happened the night of the phoenix lights. This story is probably just someone trying to make a buck.

There using a true event and doctoring it up a bit to make it more interesting what does everyone think?

Iagree, I have been studying these events for over eight years, never seen one single example or report of abductions, which the trailer appears to portray.

It looked like cross between a horror flick and fire in the sky, the old movie about arizona logger.

I guess these cheese wizzes are just going to force me to finish my book and make a real movie about this shit.... :blush2:

What really sucks is that by taking dramatic license to sell a movie, they make a jokle out of it, and the true witnesses...

anyone that takes the time to read my research of over 1,000 pages, will see that there is way more to this story, without embellishing it, than hollywood can even dream of....

The movie trailer I Believe had said "Based on true events". All they need to do, to have a film be "based on actual events" is hold some truths. The truth that a triangular looking object (most likely flares) was sceen by hundreds. Thats it, nothing else about this film is true. So yes, perhaps someone was trying to make a buck. Although it just looks like a sci fi indie film with a semi known actor.

Who's the director of this film. I would like to do a background check on him, and see if I know any of his other works.

In 1996 I had the night before with three friends watched these three lights do amazing things. I ended up Contacting Bill Hamilton (who investigated the {Phoenix lights) and to me the pheonix lights were almost identical to what we watched.

Later than night after an hour watching them (it was very cold so I went home and watched them through binoculars and a telescope)7 freinds watched them after 11pm, as they said "we watched them for over an hour race each other from horizon to horizon at a very high altitude".

My friends making so much noise the neighbours rang the police and the police also saw them apparently.
