Remember a few months back when we all had the big debate about weed and I said I had never tried it but I was always for it?
Well, Last Christmas night I tried it for the first time. I dont think it was a big deal but it was alright My medical problems were giving me a fit and a family member was killed on Xmas day. So I thought "what the hell". Just thought I would share, since many of you were involved in that 9 page debate not long ago. |

wow...so you did it because it was a holliday and a family member was killed on that x-mas day? I'm bummed that a family mamber of yours has died on x-mas day. But I'm confused...smoking when your chemestry up in the ol'noodle is awired...so adding to the mess already may leave a weird imprint on preceading x-mas's memories and such. Just a thought...But none the less you shouldnt smoke for someone elses excuse. It should be you that chooses thc not the situtation choosing you...otherwise the saying goes "Dont let the drugs do you".
peace and best of luck with them polypeptides, Austin |

Ach! Gettin' pi--ed does it for me. I've tried the weed, magic mushy's and LSD, didn't do a great deal for me except burn a big hole in my pocket. The bevvy costs as well but with European alcohol being so cheap and freely available over here it'll do for me. Sod paying approx 20 dollars for a deal of weed, When I can get sozzled for a Fiver, approx 8 dollars.

Sozzled- The act of getting trashed/drunk
Yea, gotta love the sozzling action in your liver if thats all you do. Weed should never be expensive unless you buy high quality or quanitiy.imo that is. "Well, I can't see how doing drugs would make things better... for what I've seen, drugs make it worse"-The sometimes delightful DB Lets just "hash" this all up to be of different value and of different views...I've had a lot of "bad things" in my travels of life...from what I've seen. But should smoking "away" thoes memories constitute actions of negative value...I will admit for the first part of my herbal life I WAS smoking away memory for relief of stressors...but soon realized that's the shitty reason to smoke herb. I just dont see the sense of chalking up Marijuana onto a negative podium in front of a negative crowd. There is bound to be negative results if thats all one looks for. peace, Austin |

What happened to going out and having a great time and being sozzled being a consequence rather than the aim? seethey way I see it booze wreaks more lives than weed.. don't hold with smoking weed either but each to thier own, but drinking makes too many people violent abusive and destructive. ruins families, friendships and so much else. takes away your health your wealth and just about everything else you have eventually. so you know what. it's not that you shouldnt drink.. just that you should show a little caution for yourself and those around you. Its the same as most things doesnt cost much when you start but you build up a resistance to getting pissed and need more to have the same effect if you do it often, eventually the drink runs your life! * gets off hyde parks soap box!*

* gets off hyde parks soap box!* ![]() It wasn't my Intention to belittle anyone taking weed, nor do I feel I did that, I was merely pointing out my preference for alcohol. I do go out and socialise quite often at weekends. As for my liver then I guess if I was a hardened drinker it may pose a problem for me later. I know the dangers involved with excessive drinking and being an adult I make an informed choice. I for one have never been violent either physically or verbally through the use or misuse of alcohol nor have I had ruined relationships due to the same, and of course some people who abuse alcohol do become violent and ruin relationships, hurting others in the process, and to the same token I have witnessed friends ruin thier marriages by smoking weed due to severe paranioa and becoming very distrustful of thier partners loyalty. I'm no saint but I do believe in enjoying life even if it entails a lttle danger now and then, otherwise life can be so boring. Just my opinion. Gets off the step ladder and holsters his six pack. |

Truthfully I have never experienced cannabis to 'get away from problems' what is makes you do is think about problems in ways you wouldn't normally, which is quite beneficial. I have never seen a case where someone uses cannabis to 'escape' because it could easily do the very opposite of that.
M4, just wondering, how much did you smoke? Usually the first time you have to smoke alot to get high (hell it was my 4th time when I got high the firsat time), also remember youw ill never experience anything like the first time. Elemental, alcohol is much worse than cannabiniods, alcohol is a neuro-toxin and dehydrates all the cells it touches, not only execcisve drinking is dangerous, regular weekend drinking will have a profound demitrial effect. Cannabiniods (specificly ones that affect the cb1 sites) on the other hand increase cell viability in the hippocampus, and rehydrate cells through incresed blood flow. |

I used to smoke pot all the time, it just made me dumb and lazy, but I'm not the type to preach to others about it. If you want to feel dumb and lazy, that's up to you.
If you are wondering, we can grow some killer stuff here in the East Kentucky hills, but the police are really cracking down on people now. We also brew some wicked Homebrew, white lightning, mountain dew, Moonshine. The real problem here is the pill abuse going on. |

Smoking pot makes you high. That's what it does.
After that, whatever is inside you is refected outwardly. This is why people can not agree on the matter. Smoking anything can cause harmful build-up in your lungs if overdone with no excercise (i.e. cardio or anything that makes you breathe really deep). Weed has the physical effect on your brain of spacing out your neurons over time. But this has been greatly over-impressed in people's minds. It also doesn't kill brain cells, rather "puts them to sleep". Same basic effect but less permanent and ominous. We should keep in mind that off all the drugs out there, weed and opium are the only two that have specific brain receptors (i.e. it is in our genetic memory). Smoke on that :smoker: (P.S. I really didn't touch on any of the uses and benefits as niether weed nor other "drugs" are the only technique to any listable good points. In the end we all will find our own path.) |
