What is the suckiest flick you've ever seen? Whether it was just straight up trash or a even a movie that was so crappy that is was good??

Here are mine ...

1. Mortal Kombat: Annihilation -
This is by far the epitome of garbage!! The plot is horrible, the acting is mediocre, and the special effects are crappy .... infact i love watching this movie after having a couple of drinks simply because it sucks so bad!!
First off, the director figured he should throw as many random Mortal Kombat Characters into the movie as he could thus creating countless scenes of 2 minute appearances that just made the plot irrelevant as hell at times ...
Talk about crappy acting, Raiden, who was played by Christopher Lambert (Highlander) in the prequel, is replaced by some actor I have probably seen in the early days of WCW ... who then, about in the middle of the movie decides to go from being a God to a Mortal just so he could fight ... this process apparently forces you to go to the bathroom and makes you want to cut your hair for no reason (watch the movie) ..
If you want to see rushed special effects, then this is a movie for you! Sub-Zero (a blue ninja-character) flies in and freezes Smoke, whilst he is performing this fantastic stunt you can clearly see the cable that is attached to his back!! ha, ha and ha!

2. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers
I never really liked the series since every episode was pretty much the same ... but the movie?!? WACK! I won't even bother typing about this disaster-piece.

3. Boogeyman
Actually a pretty decent movie up until you SEE the boogeyman ... this movie has one of the worst endings and the boogeyman couldn't scare my 3 year old cousin, who fears Hamsters.

House Party 2-4 (House party was ok)

Bad Boys

X Men (I think it was pure hype. I usually love Super Hero films)

Can we just change this to "Worst Actors"? I think Will Smith should stick to 80s hip hop.

How true Ben, they filmed that movie not far from where I lived at the time, and it was the biggest thing to happen to that area since sliced bread. How sad is that???

"Alexander" was just terrible.

As for the catagory of films so bad they are good, that would be "The Evil Dead," "Evil Dead 2," and "Army of Darkness." Long live Bruce Campbell!

I hear that, String Theory. To me, Bruce Campbell and Lance Hendrickson are the Gods of B-movies. Lance in "Mangler II" was priceless.

"The Last Action Hero" with Arnold was pretty lame. I sat through "Snow Dogs" to be polite to my host once...not good. And that recent Jimmy Fallon and Queen Latifa one - same host, watched it to be polte. And there was one recently about Richard Gere taking dancing lessons - awful!

Well, we kinda knew how it was going to end. Quite a film, but some of the costuming was questionable. When I saw that first shot of Kate Winslett in that enormous Victorian bonnet, I thought to myself, "I'm glad that hat's going to the bottom of the sea."

I agree. Godzilla reigns. Ever seen, "Son of Godzilla", where Godzilla has a baby lizzard on Monster Island and they fight that giant spider "Aspiga"?

There's a medieval period Japanese one from the 70s, I think, called, "Return of Giand Mejan". There's this land of people oppressed by warlords, who take prisoner the princess Lady Sayori and tie her to a stake to burn her. Giant Mejan, this 60 story high samurai made of stone, rises out of the sea to help the people fight the warlords. He plucks Lady Sayori, still tied to the stake, from the flames and proceeds to shishkabob the warlords on the stake with her still tied to it. Wonderful stuff!

Anybody like the crappy horror flicks of Dario Argenti? They're extremely warped and gorey, but have their good points. I have seen "Susperia" and "Tenebrae", would like to see "Opera". They're awfully weird, though. Nauseating, for me, sometimes.

I had a friend who claims Tenebrae is like ten times better than Silence of the Lambs...

Amazing - someone has heard of Giant Mejan. That rocks  !

Well, Tenebrae has its intresting points. It's a film dinosaur from the mordern period when compared to a real decent "up-to-date" film like "Silence of the Lambs", which had high production values, great script and a very good cast.

Dario Argenti is a real storyteller, but if anything, I would say his stuff is way more ugly, violent, wrenching and fantastic that stuff like "Lambs" or "The Ring". Tenebrae just has a real note of fantasy, unreal world feel. Susperia is even less real-world and more dreamlike and fantastical. I can't stress enough that Argenti's stuff seems weird as can be to me. Fashionable people in cool European cities are living their cool lives and then all these hideous things happen. And there are lots of plot twists, red herrings and the good guy is suddenly the psycho killer, stuff like that.

The IFC channel has shown his stuff in October for the last couple of years. They show a doccumentary about Argenti too, which is interesting. He's pretty countercultural, I'd say, even for an Italian avant-gard guy. They said he was greatly influenced by violence in Italian literature and opera and in the documentary, they made a connection between that attitude in the culture and the old Roman influence of a violent culture. I saw Tenebrae years ago as a second feature to a kung fu picture, just saw Susperia last year.
