I witnessed the Light Screens back in the late 90s.

First night I heard what sounded like footsteps, in the boys room next door, followed by a violent rattling of the front door downstairs. When I checked outside the house there was no-one. There was no wind either or traffic. We live in a quiet cul-de-sac. I checked the boys room and found them both sleeping soundly.

The second night. My boys sleep in a bunk bed next door. My youngest sleeps on the bottom part of the bunk. He complained of nightmares so I went into his room to comfort him. The night was black. Lying down next to the boy I must have fallen asleep. I was faced towards the wall (a habit from my childhood when I feel uneasy about the room I'm sleeping in). Anyway, I wake up to feel this push in my back - around the kidneys. It felt like a small cold fist. Turning around I see nothing. It is now daybreak.

Third night now! Same scenario as the previous night except that this time the boys go and join my wife and I sleep alone in the bunk bed. This time I have a dream that I can detect is an ET intrusion - a sleeping Mind Scan. I make myself wake up and turn around from facing the wall. There standing next to the bed are two light screens. They are the shape / height of a familiar grey standing at just over three feet. (I double checked this later using a tape measure up against the bunk-bed ladder that was in front of one the Screens.)These two-dimensional shapes were like card board-outs with no interior detail. They were as illuminated a yellowish white light - similar to the light spectrum of a sixty / 40 watt bulb. Not an intense light but still strong enough, given that I could see them as bright, in the morning sun. The light screens shifted quickly - one to the left and the other to the right and disappeared. This happened at about five / six seconds of opening my eyes and observing them.

The illuminated entities have the same "energy signature" as the greys. They have the basic outline and height of the greys, but it was their "energy signature", that told me it was them. Puzzling! I guess that the Greys have developed their technology as humans have over my lifetime. How I saw them as a child / young man might not be the same as now. When I was a boy we did not have the internet or the mobile phone, the microwave or the video recorder. This "light screen" could be the greys equivalent technological shift. All this gets more complicated when you add the component of time travel as well!!

That's creepy but fascinating!

The other night I woke up in the middle of the night (it was ptobably just a dream) that a tall greyish/white figure was holding it's 4, maybe 3 long fingers to my face, holding my head. I am certain it was just a dream. Well, not CERTAIN, but I hope so

After all this happened - on the third occasion - I remember saying out aloud something that still puzzles me. My recollection is, that after they disappeared, I said out aloud for the benefit of these entities (or me??) - "this was not the way to God". I don't understand why these words were uttered by me. After that they never came back.

Not really Hotherym :surrender . That's what makes me puzzled about what was uttered :confused: . I have spiritual notions but organized religion is not for me - a straight-jacket to free thinking methinks. Everybody has the right to believe or not, in a Deity, but it is against my code to force the issue either way.


I remember now more accuratly that I said, " this is not the way BACK to God." It would not be something I would assert on anyone or anything. Puzzle.

In that case I find it interesting because it sort of goes with hypotheses I've formed with such incidents -- they seem to envoke spirituality in even the most atheistic of people. It can be pretty embarrassing and humbling for the hardcore atheist or agnostic such as myself, that's for sure, and the fact that it causes such feelings in people with even anti-theistic ideals really makes for a baffling case.

A couple of people I've talked to truly believe these 'aliens' are demons/Satan trying to lead people away from God. That's one interpretation, however I see it in a much different light; one thing I've noticed stays consistent with such supposed "visitations" and encounters is that there is a fair amount of alleged telepathic or even empathic communocation, and also reports of the entities messing with the brain. In the latter cases the most reportedly tampered-with is the temporal lobe and areas close to it. I don't think it's such a coincidence that the areas affected are also the areas that deal with religious and spiritual behaviour. Either this is a physiological function present in all humans and accounts for almost all spiritual awakenings, or this is something being utilized by some other living being, perhaps as a side-effect of trying to communicate. I tend to lean towards the former, but I've ventered to the other side just to form some hypothetical ideas.

Interesting ideas Hotherym - and both equally plausible. Surely worth a serious investigation by the scientific community in both scenarios. Possibly both are happening at the same time?

because this could harm their well being from now and later on in life...

if i were you i would just try to keep these episodes to yourself and possibly just between you and with your wife as children are very vulnerable to such paranormal things and can make them extremely distressed which will probably manifest itself as they are older.

another thing... i am interested in the idea behind the "sleeping mind scan" and how you were able to detect this and name it as such.
please explain a bit more about the "sleeping mind scan"

I, along with my wife, will decide what is and is not appropriate for my family. Don't meddle in things that don't concern you! Push off. As a grown man I certainly don't need to take advice from an twenty year old about how to run my family life.

Maybe its the fact that i speak a lot of sense and being so apparently "younger and inexperienced" than you are as you like to think, you feel intimidated... well that's your problem, that isn't mine. Don't insult me just because you personally feel that way. I haven't said or done anything wrong.

You also refuse to explain what the "mind scan" is... you come in here with this big story along with fancy made-up words like "light screen", "mind scan" and "energy signatures"... but you don't go into detail as to what they are even when I and someone else asks you to. Instead you get carried away with something else as you seem to want to avoid having to explain things properly...
