Hi guys,

I am mrRonX. I am one of the new admin of Alien UFOs.

I have been working hard on the redesign and code upgrade of the site.

We have added a few new sections to the public portion of the site:
- Gallery (image gallery) (http://www.alien-ufos.com/gallery/)
- Media (media videos pdf etc gallery) (http://www.alien-ufos.com/media)
- Content Submission Area (http://www.alien-ufos.com/suggestcontent) If anyone has any content or a new area of the site they would like to see please advise me using this format.

I hope most of these changes will not affect the forum in any way(The forum is completely untouched there are no plans for any changes unless requested). Please advise me on your overall feelings on this and I will do my best to reply to any concerns.

I hope we can have a lot of fun together.

I must say the design is good, and makes a refrehing change, but I don't know if its my screen (lol or my eyesight), but I can't read what the banner says after Alien UFOs.com. do you plan on using the same home page colours on the forum....?

This is on purpose ... if memory serves correct I grabbed some lines from one of the X-Files episodes and plopped it in there. Maybe we can do the Google thing with and update it once a week or so.

I will leave this to the group. This is something I can do but my initial input was that you guys are fairly happy with the forum layout and like some dood said somewhere "If it ain't broke ... dont filx it". =) :smokin:

I am open to input on this however.

Thank you for the update, I am happy with the way the forum is now, if other members want it changed, I am sure they will speak up, (then maybe have a poll) but i'm cool with what you are doing.....I think that Google thing idea is a good one too.

I guess this might be merged, But i dont see the orriginal post.

The new Admin, is he gonna change the color scheme of A/U?
I vote red over black. anyone else? :shrug:

Im talking about the forum. He changed the front page but the forum is still the ugly blue over white

I like the colour, but it would be usefull if members had the option to choose other forum skins, some other sites "Powered by vBulletin", have this option for forum members, maybe this is what is needed, as peeps could chose the skin to suit their mood, I must admit it does make a difference at the other sites I visit smile.gif

yes, thats it. Skin choices. I think I even mentioned that. When I ran a forum, I had like 6 color schemes to chose from.

My favorite color is green, but I like this blue they have here. Nice "X Files" cerulian blue.
