Thought I'd share my dreams and oobes from two separate nights this week:

Sunday night, after a dream, I found myself caught just out of my body, paralysed. Something distinctly evil was attacking me. This entity grabbed my "hands" and tried to crush them, with full force. In my mind, I brought up my courage and laughed, thinking, "Oh now it's going to crush my hands. Yeah right!" and overpowered it by sheer will. I woke up and everything was fine. I've always had dreams and oobe's in which I am being tested - fighting demons and other evil / egocentric beings, defending the defenseless, getting people to safety during the pole shift, having to make life or death decisions for others, having my morality gauged, etc. - and this seemed to be no exception.

And now for a positive experience, or what to me is a very positive experience. Last night I had a rather interesting "dream". I found myself aboard the Zeta mothership - dark metallic surfaces, dim lighting, very utilitarian set-up. I was standing at the entrance to a large room, watching their activities passively. The amusing part was when I could hear a male human narrator, who could only speculate on what was actually happening. He said something to the effect of, "And now attendants are arranging instruments on the altar." He assumed that the Zetas were performing an elaborate ritual. However, I knew that these were surgical implements, and that the altar was a simple table and nothing more. There were a few Zetas lying on other tables, waiting to be taken care of, and two others brought another one in, already on a table. This was a demonstration of how humans can blow things out of proportion when they don't have all the facts. Very cute.

After the lesson on the mothership, I found myself out of body in my room, looking out the window at the early morning. I realised that I was not awake, and felt thrilled. I kept my excitement in check, as it never fails to wake me up. I willed myself to float up through the walls, and floated and bounced around the city awkwardly for a while. Then I, um, woke up, willed myself back under, woke up, then willed myself back under again. I struggled to stay out of body until my body woke up for good.

Just thought I'd share because it makes me happy when my nights are eventful. smile.gif

HE - Actually, I have always had lucid, often prophetic dreams, oobes, etc. In my teens, I took it upon myself to develop these natural abilities, and therefore have a great deal of control at this point in my life (I'm 24). To me it's not weird, but actually commonplace. These are natural abilities that can take a great deal of work to master. These abilities are our birthright, but it takes a great deal of hard work and discipline to hone them properly. Once you get the hang of it, though, it's like any other auxiliary function (such as breathing). At this point, I just know how to enter a trance state or a relaxed state almost instantaneously, and can therefore go out of body if I wish. The problem with me (and with most people) is that I get impatient or frustrated. That ruins the experience, which goes without saying.

Storm - Trying is inactivity. You must do your best. It takes years to understand the principles involved in anything to which you apply yourself. Your spiritual development is an infinite commitment, through which you either procrastinate or persevere (or both).

Our world is in trouble alright, but not from the ETs that I know. It's in trouble from all those who would exploit us and nature (and each other) for their own egocentric agendas. Good and evil are naught but a spiritual choice between altruism and egocentricity. They are constants throughout the entire universe, and those who choose one are the enemies of the other. That is the great responsibility of conscious beings. It is natural.

Why don't ya just buy a science book and get a good pair of binoculars??? Seems much easier than tracking down an alien.....

If you live in the country, you can see amazing things with the naked eye as well...

Well, it's hard to see anything in the night sky of a large city... At least I always thought so...

I would say its because you don't get crop fields in the inner city. But if I was being cruel I would say its because people in the inner city are statistically less likely to be inbred. biggrin.gif

Storm - A self-defeatist attitude will always hold you back. You DO have what it takes. It could be that you're just trying too damned hard! I mean, it took me years to gain any measure of control over my oobes, or telepathy, or any other higher spiritual ability, and I could still do with some more practice! But, of course, it's no big deal if you choose not to pursue it any further.

HE - For clarity, what I meant was that you ought to educate yourself WELL about UFOs and ETs first, before you go "hunting".
