those are pretty good ones, complex enough to be extremely hard to be man made, some of them have the perfect symetry that is key to identifying them as real

wow that one trog is amazing, i just dont see how someone(s) could have enough spare time on there hands to do something like that or lucky enough not to get caught, because somthing like that would seem like it would take many many hours to acomplish. and im pretty sure if a farmer saw some people in there feild at night walkin around over and over in circles he would problaly start shootin or at least check it out

Man made. Looks like a king from a playing card. The center design looks very familiar, as well... is that a Celtic or Scottish design?

could be man made, and yes a king of cards. But it also looks like the pope.

Dear Cricket, Your comment about the pope struck a chord with me. Perhaps the crop circle 'designers' wanted to remind us of what time it is and how perilously close we are to the 'End'. A religious Irishman named Malachi was on a journey to visit Rome in 1139AD. When he first caught sight of the city he received a vision of all the future popes until Judgement day. He gave a written account of his vision to the pope that was not discovered in the Vatican archives until 1590AD. The vision itself contains a brief description of the 112 future popes. These descriptions are in the form of mystical titles referring to some trait, symbol, or biographical detail of the future popes. Many people who have studied them believe his descriptions are uncannily accurate. Malachi was canonized the first Irish Saint in the Catholic Church by Pope Clement III in 1190AD. According to St. Malachi the present Pope is the next to the last one. About the last pope, the prophecy reads, "In the final persecution of the Roman Church there will reign Peter the Roman, who will feed his flock amid many tribulations, after which the seven-hilled city will be destroyed and the dreadful Judge will judge the people. The End." For more information on St. Malachis' prophecies one of many websites available for research is listed: http://www.catholicity.com/commentary/hudson/malachi.html Switching now to Nostradamus I seem to remember one prophecy of his on the subject (I do not rememeber the chapter and verse). If my memory serves, the inhabitants of Rome will be given a 7 day notice in which to evacuate the city before the man in a 'turban' initiates the destruction. (A thermonuclear device?) Nostradamus also makes reference to the last pope as 'Peter the Roman'! Take it for what it's worth. _____________________________ "God builds his Temple in the heart on the ruins of churches and Religions." Ralph Waldo Emerson |

I must apologize for posting information about the existence of a quatrain from Nostradamus about his naming the last pope 'Peter the Roman' and the related data.
I never actually read the quatrain but simply had a faint recollection of it. As soon as I had the chance I went to my library and found my copy of 'The Final Prophecies of Nostradamus' by Erika Cheetham. In the index I searched for all the references that should have brought me to the aforementioned quatrain. I could find none. Evidently what I recalled in my memory was from a program hosted by David Macullum entitled 'Ancient Prophecies, part 1 of 4 (I have a copy of all 4).The first two segments of Part 1 were about St. Malachi and Nostradamus. What I thought I remembered was that the seperate information from both sources were corroborating each other. What I actually must have heard was the program going from one to the other and then back again giving me the illusion of corroboration. I'm sorry for the mixup. Next time I'll take the time to check my data before I present it here. My mistake was compounded by the fact that I was in a hurry to meet an appointment. ___________________________ 'It's OK to hurry; just don't be in a hurry' 'It's not really a mistake if you catch it in time.' |

It is pretty complex to be man made, however if they had a long time to do it then perhaps. THe shape of the circle and its image kind of indicates a man made form, unfortunately. Still, a really cool circle.

'It's not really an error if you catch it in time.' Dear Readers; Just a short followup on this subject. In re-reading the book 'Pole Shift' by John White, pg. 305, I came across the following: "As recently as 1978 a prophecy of Nostradamus appeared to be fulfilled by the death of Pope John Paul I after only thirty-four days in the papal office. According to an Associated Press article entitled "Ancient Soothsayers Foresaw Brief Papacy, Crisis," Nostradamus mentioned a "barefoot pope" whose reign would last "no more than two months" and who would be succeeded by "the last two popes." The death of the barefoot pope would follow the death of a pope who reigned for fifteen years. Pope Paul VI, John Paul's predecessor, reigned exactly that long." If this information is true then we are living during the reign of the last 'pope'. And if St. Malachis' prophecy is accurate then the next 'leader' of the Vatican church will be referred to as 'Peter the Roman.' Only time will tell whether these two prophets were correct in their predictions. __________________________ 'It is difficult to see eye to eye with any person you look down on.' |
