My bf's dad wants the three of us to move to the Solomon Islands for various reasons and showed us this site that is kinda poorly made but somewhat interesting:

I read about this years ago.

What caught my Interest was I had just watched a Movie about US soldiers Invading I believe Guadalcanal, which is one of the Solomon Islands. They expected Heavy Resistance. Many would Die on the Beach.

There was None!!! When the Soldiers moved inland, there were no Japs in sight. They left everything in a Hurry. Food was still Cooking. True or Not. I don't know.

Islanders that were Captured said the Japs moved to the Mountains. All very Curious. The Japanese never Run from a Fight.

This Story claims there are Large Harry Creatures, resembling Big Foot that Eat Humans. Has been for a Long time on those Islands.

After seeing the Movie and Reading the Story, it made me Wonder. Could there be Truth to this?

So if you go, stay close to Town. If you Venture, carry a Big Gun and be able to Run Fast!!!smile.gif

P.S. Keep a Look Out for UFOs. It is Claimed there are UFO bases there as Well. Maybe these Creatures are ET if they Exist. Maybe Big Foot is also, though he seems Not be a Meat Eater. Maybe that's why we Never Find their Remains. wink.gif

I have read a little of the Solomon Island mysteries but I do not recall reading of hairy giants 10-15 feet tall!!!
Wow.
The report was too long and I only read the first part.
It stated there is going to be a book.
I must get a copy.

Since there are legions of aliens, bigfoots AND giants on the Solomon Islands
I was wondering how they all can live simultaneously on such small islands and remain undetected.

Do they like... time share?

There are no Solomon giants anymore....In the second world war these island were completely napalmed. The chiefs like to bring in tourists and they start these things.

I know a person who knows the ex-high commisioner to the Solomons and he states that its to bring in the tourists and there are no underground ufo bases, no giants and a infamous yowie hunter went there once and supposedly went into the jungle and the natives after telling him giants were there asked him to build a toilet in a tree for them haha...

There is no evidence that giants still live there, in the past though...thats another matter

If that is the case, after reading the story in the link, there is an amazing amount of people in on it, of course this would have to involve the mine crew and all there reports too.
If they were completely napelmed, where were the natives during this?

I'm not sure what all to believe from that piece and what to take worth a grain of salt-- its poorly written and seems like the author's main goal is to sell his book that is "coming soon." However, I did find it interesting and it inspired me to research further on the topic. Whether I move there or not, it sounds like a VERY interesting place to visit- a place where I'd deffinately be keeping my eyes open.

Whether these are real or not, its still interesting because it is obviously a pretty big part of the native islander's lives and culture. Just like the Northwest American Bigfoot or the Loch Ness monster-- even if they don't exist, its still a fun hobby to study or even make a scientific career out of, plus it brings in curious visitors that help the economy by buying cheap, cute trinkets, and maybe even some blurry photos or stories of locals to take home as memories.
